You still claimed Coke wasn't a mixture.

Also civilized people realize that "milli" and "centi" are merely prefixes.

And yet, NEITHER are tangible units!

Yes, but it indeed rare to find measurements expressed in centiliters. Most scientific texts will only change prefixes for every three orders of magnitude. I've never even seen a piece of equipment that measured in centiliters. Also cl looks too much like d.

cl is very very common in measurements of drinks. For example, everyone knows a can of coke is 33cl.

I just know it as 330 mL. Which is weird, since US cans are 12 fl. oz, which is ~355 mL.

Nope, it's 355 ml over here. There is literally no mention of the cl unit on any package/can/bottle I have ever seen.

I never said it was a common measurement everywhere, as this thread is evidence of. Thus it should be implied that I relate to individuals in my surroundings.

OK, I should know, I'm the Coke det.
First off, if you didn't know that a can of Coke is 33cl, your an idiot.

Regions of Earth and their measurements on their cans of Coke:

Canada: 355ml
USA: 12oz
Europe: 33cl
China: 330ml

Also of note, while NA uses aluminium cans, Europe uses a steel/tin alloy. The reason is that NA is much more into "Recycling" which aluminium is much easier to do so on, while tin/steel is cheaper to manufacture, but harder to recycle. this isn't a problem in EU so much as they are behind us in terms of recycling.

On the other topic of prefixes in measurements, the prefix itself is not a measurement, but a multiplier on the measurement itself.
EX//:
1 metre = 100 centimetres = .001 kilometre

No.

First off, Aluminium is a bitch to recycle. It's actually much cheaper to dig up new, but POLITICS keep going with the 1/10 energy cost thing and handily forgetting the electrolysis cost.

Secondly, coca cola cans in Sweden, at least, are aluminium.I would know, I've set fire on potassium salt and sugar in them. They melt.

No idea about recycling of tin cans, but it isn't widely done as far as I know.
