That's just cruel.

Not that I oppose cruel in any way, shape or form.

Hmm, it worked well for me.

also, I kind of like the new sport thing, but the kid, milo (assuming it's spelled like that) absolutely freaks me the chainsaw out.

I guess the link only works in AMERICA!
Okay, think of what little patience I have as, oh, I don't know, your virginity. You always thought it would be there, until that night Junior Year when you were feeling a little down about yourself and your pal Kevin, who just wanted to be friends, well, he dropped by and he brought a copy of About Last Night and a four-pack of Bartels & James and woo hoo hoo, it was gone forever - just like my patience is now. ~ Dr. Perry Cox

Who the hell... put bouillon cubes in the shower head!?! Huh? Hm, did you do it? Hm? Did you? If it happens again, I will wait in my S.U.V., blast me some speed-metal -- 5.1 surround sound, heavy on the bass -- and someone... will be getting... mowed... down. ~ Dr. Hooch

The scenery is chainsawing gorgeous. Good animation, too. Really enjoying the visual part of this show. Hope they keep it up. Voice acting wasn't quite as good, but eh, didn't hurt much. I'm interested in where the writing goes, don't know yet if that part will be good or bad. The way this looks, though, it might just be worth sticking with it for the art porn regardless.

I love Tenzin's voice, but it doesn't fit his drawing at all.

Also, I'm already like the V for Vendetta wannabe mask villain just for his look.

I agree that the art is spectacular. I mean when I saw the opening in the snow I thought "chainsaw this is Nickelodeon, where are my bad teenage singers?"

Tenzin is voiced by motherchainsawing JK Simmons.

They've really done an incredible job integrating the CGI. And, I'm looking forward to seeing more how the setting has progressed. The huge technological advances are obviously pretty interesting. I feel like that one anti-bender guy having a cordless electronic megaphone was a bit of a stretch, though. >_>

Only real complaint is the dialogue and some of the voice acting. Exposition in a first episode is almost always awkward, but they really didn't do it gracefully at all. Something about the way the conversations as a whole came across made me think of... well, dubbed anime. Does anyone else get that feeling?

They're slow about putting them up, huh.

So yeah, show's maintaining my interest pretty well. I hope they do something more interesting with the Equalists than the assholes they've shown the non-grass root parts of the organization as. I mean, that agitator guy in the first and third episodes was chainsawing right. Amon's a dick, though.

But life as a non-bender really isn't that bad. Especially if you compare it to even 70 years earlier. Also a great deal of their technology revolves around bending.

Also the second I saw Asasmi I knew the fangirl shippers would go chainsawing ape. I'm glad I was right.
