We last left off where Seth decided to go to Valor on his black dragon Erath. And when he got there...And if anyone forgot the story, Kyan found his long lost friend Seth on Valor, and his black dragon Erath. Kyan is a mamkute that can still use swords as well as dragon stone attack.

An idea for a Morrowind mod; Not sure how many people here play it...

I've had this idea for a while. One thing that made the game interesting when first playing was getting random quick quests from NPCs all over the place. Of course, once a player knows where these quests are, they just do them again and again.

So, the idea of this mod is to utilize NPCs all across the game world that currently serve no purpose other than filler to give quick quests involving something simple like obtaining an item, getting some money, or maybe occasionally killing someone. I obviously don't want to break any canon or create anything out of place with this, so research and such would probably be the biggest part of this.

I'm thinking in order to make a real noticeable difference in the number of quests available in the world, there should be an additional 50-100~ quests around the world.

Is anyone interested in lending a hand in this? I won't be able to get to this for a couple weeks due to travel, but I think this could be a good board project. I used RPG Maker on the PS1 a bit when I was younger, so I understand the basic basics, but I haven't tried the Construction Set yet.

I guess I could try, though I am not all that experienced in scripting.

Problem is, I don't have Morrowind anymore. >_>

Oh well, can't be too hard to find.

Pirating it is easy, since it's old and doesn't need a CD key.

Kiwi could try getting back into it, he guesses.

List of mods to make it more bearable?

Sure, I could probably learn the editor pretty easily.

...Once I get Morrowind. With a bit of luck, I'll get my real laptop back tomorrow, otherwise I'll use this one.

Eh, I'll torrent it right away anyway.

You'll definitely want the two expansions for the improvements they make, and because most mods are made to be compatible with the latest version of Morrowind with both expansions.

The mods I find indispensible:

-Unofficial Morrowind Patch
-Morrowind FPS
-Passive Healthy Wildlife
-Fair Magicka Regen
-Potion Sorter
-Delayed Dark Brotherhood Attack Add-On
-Herbalism for Purists
-Galsiah's Character Development

Some good music packs, since the original game has a limited number of tracks:

-The Epic Soundtrack
-Daggerfall Music Pack series
-The music included with Tamriel Rebuilt

Some good graphic-improving mods:

-Better Heads
-Better Bodies
-Visual Pack, or something similar (there are a lot of choices for landscape retexturing)
-Morrowind Graphics Extender (kind of difficult to use, but a very powerful tool)

Is there a tool for Morrowind like OBMM to manage mods?

Lol, did the classic mistake of installing a ton of mods at once... Eh, just gotta reinstall it >>

This definitely sounds like an awesome idea. Kiwi remembers finding random people on his travels and getting cool stuff for doing things for strangers. *like getting cool boots that somehow blinded you*

Alright, well, just write down anyone you find who seems to serve no purpose other than filler. It would be better for the new quests to be spread out. I'm thinking taverns and inns may be good places to create new quests at.

Alright, just so you know, everyone except the bartender in the Council Club in Balmora is killed in a quest.

Actually now that I think about it, one could probably find what quests characters are attached to by going into the editor. I still can't really do that yet though, so I can't confirm that. >>
