Now I am sad. Why did that show have to die so young?
Okay, think of what little patience I have as, oh, I don't know, your virginity. You always thought it would be there, until that night Junior Year when you were feeling a little down about yourself and your pal Kevin, who just wanted to be friends, well, he dropped by and he brought a copy of About Last Night and a four-pack of Bartels & James and woo hoo hoo, it was gone forever - just like my patience is now. ~ Dr. Perry Cox

Who the hell... put bouillon cubes in the shower head!?! Huh? Hm, did you do it? Hm? Did you? If it happens again, I will wait in my S.U.V., blast me some speed-metal -- 5.1 surround sound, heavy on the bass -- and someone... will be getting... mowed... down. ~ Dr. Hooch

Because the story ended. If it was successful they'll probably do a sequel or spinoff.

They better or I'll kill Nickelodeon. Though Nick really needs to ease up on the censorship. That was really the only negative of the show.

As a general rule it's better shows end when the story ends than doing otherwise.

I agree, too many shows and movie series have been killed by sequels.

The kiddiness of Avatar was exactly the reason I couldn't sit through it. I was told the animation was good (and SOOOO much better than anime), so I was expecting a lot, but even that disappointed me. The animation is only good if you compared it to weekly shounen fighting anime.

Typically, they are poorly animated.

Though to be honest, I haven't watched a shounen fighting anime in ages. >>

True, but there are a great many other things that have horrible animation as well.
Mostly certain (often school-based) fanservice productions that do not involve giant robots to any decent extent.

I don't really watch those either, but I thought Kanokon's animation looked alright, particularly with the way the highlights on hair and such were done.

If most people had lots of responsible sex without social fear, then they'd probably lose interest cause it's not that great. Or maybe everyone would just end up awesome at it.

It didn't die! Now they're making a live-action movie of it by M. Night Shyamalan!

...On second thought, yeah, maybe it is dead. >>

I think it kind of ended at the right time, though. Can't imagine what the plot of a 4th season would be about.

I watched it for a bit and liked it, but Aang got on my nerves pretty often and so I stopped.

They probably did end at a good time. But I'm also sure they could have done a fourth season. And yes the fourth season could have sucked, but you never know if you don't try.

Yes I'm still bitter because WB canceled Angel despite the fact it was getting both good ratings and good reviews because they wanted the show to end on a good note.'
