Thats not normal? Oh, that's right. You live in a place with normal weather. |

The opinions expressed in the above post are totally and completely correct. If you disagree with them, you are wrong, there's just no other way to put it. I've seen knights in armor panic at the first hint of battle. And I've seen the lowliest, unarmed squire pull a spear from his own body, to defend a dying horse. Nobility is not a birthright. It's defined by one's actions. -Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

How is that bad? 60 degrees > 100 degrees. |

Okay, think of what little patience I have as, oh, I don't know, your virginity. You always thought it would be there, until that night Junior Year when you were feeling a little down about yourself and your pal Kevin, who just wanted to be friends, well, he dropped by and he brought a copy of About Last Night and a four-pack of Bartels & James and woo hoo hoo, it was gone forever - just like my patience is now. ~ Dr. Perry Cox Who the hell... put bouillon cubes in the shower head!?! Huh? Hm, did you do it? Hm? Did you? If it happens again, I will wait in my S.U.V., blast me some speed-metal -- 5.1 surround sound, heavy on the bass -- and someone... will be getting... mowed... down. ~ Dr. Hooch | |

... Celsius scale uses 0 degrees for the freezing point of water. Fahrenheit scale uses 32 degrees for the same. Kelvin scale doesn't give a fuck about water and uses 0 for absolute zero. Kelvin > Celsius >>>>>>>>>>>> Fahrenheit |

I have heard tales of this mysterious thing called "Warmth". Perhaps it is like the times when it doesn't snow or blow terribly hard? |

Fahrenheit is retarded, and we shouldn't use it-- even if it's a hell of a lot easier for conversation and comparison. Celsius isn't bad, but everything should be measured in Kelvin to make things easier. At least Kelvin and Celsius are simple to convert, and equivalent in many equations (though I don't understand why). |

1 Kelvin = 1 degree Celsius. The only difference between the scales is the fix point. And that doesn't matter when calculating using a temperature change or difference. Also what's so easy about Fahrenheit? Celsius is a lot easier in everyday conversation to me. |

The fact that one degree change in Fahrenheit is a lot less significant, and thus more specific, than one degree change in Celsius. I personally find it easier to compare things in whole numbers, rather than with decimals. It also makes conversation seem more casual. I could say "It went from 76 yesterday to 80 today, and that would be easily understood as somewhat, a bit, warmer. It would be easier to grasp than "It went from 26.44 yesterday, to 26.66 today". But whatever, I'm sure many would argue against it. I just find it a far more precise and simple system to measure with. |

I never ever came in contact with Fahrenheit before reading American things. Fen: Actually, we only bother with at most one decimal. And, well, it's not a bother because that's what's displayed on digital termometers. Usually vague statements like "about 20 degrees" suffice. |
