Hmm, you'll learn in time, child. Very little time. Don't worry.

This board certainly has no shortage of girls, compared to most other boards.

What, one active female poster, Zwitt, is enough to not consider it a shortage? Bella is a good addition, though.

Also, I need to bring kazyen and Col from GEOS to GHEB sometime. It would liven things a whole lot more.

Oh, also, I am Khai.

GEOS is still alive? >_>

But yeah, do that.

Don't bring Zoe here. I bore with her too quickly and she assumes I treat women worse than men(like dirt, she says). That simply isn't true, I treat everyone equally until I find merit to do otherwise.

But this Col person? Never heard of them. Bring them.

BTW, we also have Lulu, who's halfway a girl, and Asuka who pretends to be a girl. We have two active girls already, when we combine them. That's plenty to say we don't have a shortage. >>

I agree with Zoe. With all due respect, You have some sexist beliefs.

Well it would be easy to think that sometimes, but I'm simply anti-feminist. And my belief is that men do deserve higher wages in most cases, because men generally DO work harder even at the same job, and even if it doesn't require much work. There is much more expected of men in many careers in the first place, now that I think about it. Mind you, I've more workplace observation about such things than one would first think. But that's very much so up for debate and both sides have merit. Realistically statistics like that shouldn't exist and people should just be paid what they deserve, but it will be another century before we stop trying to use the sex card as valid.

You're relying too much on generalizations and stereotypes here, I think.

Well, yes, I'm sure there is a large amount of men who don't work hard and a fair group of women who do work hard to match it, but I haven't ever encountered them as more than just a random, rare instance. I've ever seen two men who worked with significantly less effort than the women, and they were like the super feminine gay types.

Women working hard? Oh sure, yeah, no doubt. But most of the jobs they were working required that kind of hard work in the first place. Like working in a metal shop or something. They're tough, but not remarkably more than the men. That may be more of a limitation of their strength, though; I imagine as tough as they were(and arguably better workers), they would have exceeded the men if they weren't physiologically limited.

Really, people should just be paid more or less on effort. However, it isn't easy for a business to give a pay cut without getting into a mess. The logical thing would be to start everyone at a fairly low salary and rapidly raise them up based on effort, but anyone can say that a merit system is just going to lead to seriously underpaid employees. So then, they just work on the general idea that men would work harder than women, for various cultural stereotypes backed with a certain extent of good reasoning. Thus leading us full circle in a problem that can't really be fixed easily.

When I had a job for a few months last year, I couldn't stand it and really didn't want to be there. I didn't put forth nearly as much effort as I should have. I absolutely couldn't stand most of my female co-workers, but that was because they would always complain when I didn't do something right or wasn't working fast enough. I think it's safe to say that they cared far more about their job than I did. Then again, this was a shitty part-time job bagging groceries at a supermarket, pretty much the dullest and least fulfilling job imaginable.

No Darts, they weren't concerned with their job. They just didn't want to pick up the slack you created. I think it's an exception when you're forced to work and don't want to and don't put effort into it at all because of that, like you did. That could happen to both genders and should be mooted.

Four is still two or three more than most boards comparable to this one that I've been to though.
