Umm, we have this really long cross country trail and I did it in 7 minutes (think it was a mile?).

Other than that I have no idea.

He he. 1 miles is short for cross country runners. Even middle schoolers run two. The high school standard is 5km/3.1 miles and college runs 10km/6.2 miles.

I take it the track season just started there if you don't know what your events are yet.

Yeah, plus I'm ultra new to it so the coach is like "we tak slo k? lol".

I sort of only like cheerleading and tennis is a bore.

When you get to races, track gets better. Especially the longer races. There's so much strategy and thinking involved it's unbelievable. I miss competitive running, especially cross country.

My mother said it would be good for me. Plus, I sort of want to do it because Ben promised he'd watch me at a meet (<3).

It's definitely good for you. You sleep better, feel better, have a whole lot more energy, and no one can ever catch you when you play capture the flag with friends.

And don't do a sport because other people want you to, do it because you want to. You're going to hate yourself if you do it for other people.

!!

I'd be so good in P.E. then, and, usually when I try a sport I end up loving it. I was such a tomboy and my mother brought me to Pop Warner cheerleading. I loved it <3.

Definitely. It really feels great when you run 2 miles while going easy during the 12 minute walk/run in health and the second best person runs right around a mile and half.

I asked if it was a "French Canadian" place, if you fail to realize there is such a thing as French Canadian then do not pass off your opinion of nationalities as fact.

French Canadian does exist;

Between the 1840s and the 1930s, some 900,000 French Canadians emigrated to the New England region. About half of them returned home. The generations born in the United States would eventually come to see themselves as Franco-Americans. During the same period of time, numerous French Canadians also emigrated and settled in Eastern and Northern Ontario. The descendants of those Quebec immigrants constitute the bulk of today's Franco-Ontarian community.

k?

That means nothing.

French Canadians are what not real. They are only French, because Quebec is part of France, no Canada. =D
All eyes on me. Gather all who believe.

Yes, it's a healthy way to pass time and make friends. Just find one you like. I suggest ultimate.

OMG, some people get so bitchy and competitive. They also call bullshit fouls all the time. Some sportsmen need to just go die. I also don't know how to play sports, so throughout school, the PE teacher always yelled at me for doing things wrongly, he also says I ask too many questions. He yells at me for things as trivial as how I stand when I come up to bat at baseball. Sportsmen are some of the people that make me and probably Dart suffer. When we played sports at school (lol, elementary), I was one of those people who sucked and was left out from passes and such. Many of them are assholes and wiggers/wankstas. but I do know that a few are cool.

Playing sports in PE sucks. It's hardly the best environment to learn the sport or actually enjoy it, mostly due to the large number off assholes in PE classes, but that doesn't mean they can't be fun if you're just playing around with friends.

Yes, I've had some negative experiences in P.E. classes before. When I was in middle school, I remember one time when my P.E. teacher split the class up by gender and made the boys play against only the other boys and the girls play against only the other girls. Being the least athletic boy in the class, he made me play with the girls, and I was the only boy he told to do this, meaning he basically considered me one of the girls. Heh. He probably thought I must be gay or something. What a total jerk. I didn't let it bother me at all since I was completely apathetic about sports and didn't care about playing either way, but, looking back, that was pretty much the ULTIMATE INSULT. Maybe I could have got the jerk fired if I'd reported it to someone.

I also remember when my parents made me join a soccer team when I was about 5. I went out on the field and found staring at the trees and the sky around me far more interesting than actually playing the sport. I still got a trophy out of being on the team though.

PE classes suck ass, but I would suggest against it forcing you away from sports. >.>

After all, middle/high schools suck as a whole. <.<

Middle school was TOTAL HELL for me and so was the first year of high school. The remaining years of high school were somewhat better while still somewhat lacking, but, strangely enough, I've been growing nostalgic for those days recently.
