Or is Super Robot Wars 3 somewhat challenging? I've only played the first 2 stages, but it seems slightly difficult. Like, the GM's are completely useless, except for the fact that they're there as weak meatshields to waste an opponent's turn. And it just seems like all the enemies have a high dodge rate compared to your own units. I'm not complaining at all. I'm LOVING this difficulty. I'm just pointing out that this seems harder than OG2. >_> Not that OG2 is that hard, anyway. |

It's not just you. SRW3 is pretty hard, although I mostly attribute it to the fact that you can't choose your defensive actions individually. Which is something of an aggrivation later on. (Well, that and you can't upgrade weapons, either.) |

I personally think it's more of a flaw in the system. Your mechs continuosly use their strongest attacks with no regard to EN or ammo, which means they will usually be low on it for most of the game. And like Syntax said, you can't choose defensive actions. It's actually kind of frustrating. |

I just finished the 2nd stage with only the Mazinger Z still standing at about 1/3 HP. Haha. This is fun. |

Haha.. My cash was at 0 at the end of stage 2, after it added up repair costs for my mechs. In fact, I should have gone into the negatives. >_> |

Just watch out for upgrading Getter Robo. IIRC, it has a ton of new versions. I think Shin is the final one, though. |

Shin Getter doesn't make its appearance in the SRW series until SRW4, I believe. I could be mistaken, though. |

I didn't check the objectives and I didn't realize that if the White Base was shot down, then it'd be gameover. In the last two stages, it didn't matter if it got shot down or not. But since it had 3000 HP, I sent it to the front lines. >_> I should check the objectives more often. |
