Being loyal to your country is mostly about hoping that the country will in return be loyal to you(kinda naive). And hoping for afterlife, is a consequence of your life being a constant suffering. |

But your life is only constant suffering if you make it that way, expecting an afterlife. Which is ironic. Cause there isn't one. There isn't even a soul. |

Atheism FTW! Religion is illogical! It's all a bunch of fairy tales! George H.W. Bush (current Bush's dad) is a mongoloid for thinking that atheists cannot be good citizens/patriots (yes, I kid you not, he really said that once). Well, he's a mongoloid for many other reasons, too, as is his son. I guess it runs in the family. |

Well, religion or not, you can't just assume that the worlds were created and we exist just for that. Something wet things in motion. I do not believe that it was a being, greater power, all-knowing god or not, but some power led to the world's creation and evolution. Something determined the way things function. The world doesn't exist just because. |

Obviously the world was created by some sort of force, but what created that force? What created the thing that created the force? And what created that? Theism and all other belief systems that try to define how the world was created are all illogical and thus fail for that reason - they are able to say what created the world, but they are unable to say what created whatever created the world. |

A great deal of random chance in a universe of infinite possibility set things in play. And random chance set that universe into play. So really, the gods of everyone is statistically improbable, astronomical odds. And yes, I can know that there are no souls. To the best of science, evolution has happened. And there is no scientific evidence that a soul were to ever exist. Not in animals. No monotheistic religion questions if animals have souls, though I never figured out why not. But humans then, being animals, certainly don't either. |

Come to think of it, questions of who created everything are useless. The notion of there ever being nothing is an impossibility - something cannot be created from nothing. |

Scientists managed to pull plausible thoeires up to the Big Bang. Behind the Big Bang? There's jack. Nobody has any idea what caused it, and going by that, it could be ANYTHING. It COULD be some sort of God. But it COULD be something else, too. No one can tell for sure. No possibilities can be discarded, really. |

trying to guess the exact origin of everything is useless. A whole lot of time is wasted and nothing will ever be found out, until we develop time travel. And then traveling back in time would be outlawed, cause if you accidentally park your time machine in civilization, things could get very screwed up. |

How do you know that? You know the mechanics of time travel now? |

Well, let's say you have a time machine, and it is the year 2400. You take it back to the year 2000, but decide to pop up in the middle of a busy city. Now, we know that hasn't happened because we have lived through the year 2000. But, nonetheless, it happened, and now some fool has released the fact that time travel exists, 400 years before it is ever made. All sorts of things would happen because of that, for good and for bad. |

Thats one theory, but it hasn't been confirmed, because, well, we don't know how the mechanics of time travelling would work. There's also the theory that there exists an infinity of parallel universes created on every possibilities happening all at once. In that case, if a possible time traveller left our universe and went backwards in time, and then arrived 400 years sooner, his arival would immediatly create an alternate universe in which he arrived, but since he didn't appear in OUR universe, we'd be unaffected. The traveller, however, might be stuck on the alternate universe, depending on the mechanics of an hypothetic time travelling technology nobody knows about. |

We know that time travel will never happen because we've never seen people from the future in our time. Well, that and the fact that time travel completely defies common sense. |
