What mechs did they pilot? I assume that: Kar-Wai Lau piloted Gespenst-S Gilliam Yager piloted Gespenst or Gespenst-R Sanger Zonvolt piloted Grungust Type-0 But Tempest and Kai? |

Hmm, here's what I remember. Before actual mechs were developed, they piloted the jet fighters . Tempest left after the Gigan Incident, so he wasn't an official tester for mechs/ Kar-Wai piloted the first prototype Genspest that dissapeared. Gilliam pilots the Genspent-R, the basis for most real robots that were developed later. It's not clear who piloted Genspenst S, the prototype for Super Robots, but either Kai or Sanger are good possibilities. And as we see in the first chapter at Ryusei's route, Elzam was the official tester for the mass-produced version of Genspent. |

Uh, what WAS the Gigan Incident? I can't remember it ever being explained. And I thought that it was Gespenst-S that dissapeared? Since Kar-Wai appears in it (And Gilliam pilots Gespenst in OG2) |

Terrorists stole the Gigan and nearly destroyed a colony(NOT Elpis, there was the gas incident). Many victims, including Tempest's family. Like the Elpis one, the government was behind it in order to supress the colonies. |

Ouch. Oh, and why did Elzam have to shoot Cattleya in the Elpis one? Was she taken hostage? |

The terrorists took Cattleya as a hostage(commander's wife after all). Then they released poison gas in the colony to prevent Elzam from chasing them They couldn't seal that section since the doors were sabotaged, and Cattleya has already breathed the gas, so her chances of survival were slim. Last resort? Destroy the infected section. That is explained in OG 2 though. |

Ah, I guess it's only explained on the Earth Cradle Route (Since that's where Rai kills Archibald, afterall); I took the Moon Cradle one. |

You really should play all the routes. You have only played half the game in one playthrough. |

No no no no no. Tempest is so angry about it because the EFA blew up the Colony so the Gigan would survive (Being so impossible to destroy) but the terrorists wouldn't, thus letting the EFA avoid actually having to fight the Gigan. That's why tempest is pissed. |

Oh, right. Terrorists stole the Gigan, but instead of the government sacrificing their jets and mechas, they sacrificed the colony. Thanks for the correction Doc. |

Yeah, I thought it would be a little strange that Tempest hated Gigan. |
