Can someone give me the link to that site that lists every FE7 character's averages for every level? I can't remeber what it's called, but I'd like the link. |

Don't trust that site, it gives wacky averages using a probabilities application with doesn't really work considering FE. Just calculate them using base + levelups*growth + promo bonuses if applicable. |

If you're looking for the expected results of one playthrough, use Shrimp's formula, but if you're looking to see the results over a gazillion playthroughs, check that site. Or so I'm told. |

Damnit, would it have killed you to tell me that BEFORE I wrote a nice little debate post based on those stats? |

Depends on what you'd consider averages. Someone debunked the thought that this formula was more accurate than the common one to use, using 20/20 Ike's Spd as an example. The probabilities formula said that Ike would average closer to 27 Spd than 28 Spd over several playthroughs. However, when you look at it closely, you find out that, from a fixed number of Ikes, more than half of them end up capping Spd at 28. What brings the averages down to 27 are mainly the aberrant results (those so screwed to get, say 23-24 Spd and the like) on the LOWER SCALE only, since those aberrent results on the higher scale are killed by the cap. Still it comes to sense that Ike is much, much more likely to hit the 28 cap than 27 in Spd, as the old formula would have it. |

I made a nice Java program that calculates stats, but I can't figure out how to embed an Applet in a post (if I even can >_>). |

Yeah, letting people embed applets in posts would probably be a bad idea, even if it was simple (which I don't think it would be). |

If it's like music embedding, only admins/mods can do it anyway. |
