Bronze Medalist Posts: 132 Group: Global Moderator Member #22 Joined: October 23, 2006	Hmm...I read it a while ago and don't have time to pull it up now, but if I remember right, it talked about how they chose their music for this years FD. They wanted to portray characters, skate to music they really loved, and though back about past programs to find the music that really suited them. There were some great pics of the two of them "trying on" different characters - Ben as a rock star, Tanith as the crazy fan girl, the two of them singing into an old fashion microphone....it was pretty cute. They finally decided on "That's Entertainment" because they really wanted an up beat, peppy FD that could draw the audience in. I'll look later to make sure this was the right article....:) ETA: Yup! That's the right one. Here's the final quote about this new FD: Quote: "We love playing characters, and we love making up programs that have stories," Belbin said. "That is our challenge today as ice dancers. Because of the rules, it's so easy to get caught up worrying about an edge or how many turns you have in a step sequence. "There's no use sitting around complaining about it. If we are to progress the sport, it's up to us to bring the dancing back to dance. When we were getting feedback from the (International) Skating Union, we heard more about, 'Can you do this difficult footWork and dance it more and still stay in character?' That's what we're working on now. And HERE"S the front cover picture. :)
