I don't really like what they're doing with this. What if really the person could have lived but they decided we needed the organs more. That is pretty scary to me. But at least they are leaving the decision up to the families.

Ethics here sure are interesting. There is no clear answer and there are really good arguments and reasoning for nearly any direction.

Yep. The issue is far from black or white. It reminds me a lot of the abortion issue. Instead of "When is someone alive?" the question is "When is someone dead?"

Personally though, if I'm "dead" for more than a minute, leave me that way. I'm probably so fucked up at that point that I wouldn't want to live the remainder of my life.

Oh my goodness :o I actually agree with Broke. If I was fucked up enough to where they were having a hard time deciding if I'm dead all the way or not, let me be.
