Not all were convinced. "The Treasury plan throws an ungodly amount at Wall Street," said Rep. Marcy Kaptur, D-Ohio. "This is just an end run around, right before an election. Pray for our republic."

Exactly.

I had " The bill has finally passed ". How does that not make sense , I don't sit there and change ya'lls stupid remarks when they don't make sense . And that's the whole purpose to click on the link to see what it is about. Anyways the post is not about how I wrote the topic , its about the financial bailout so lets keep the replys to that only.

Your original topic title did not include the word bill. Also, it would be "passed".

you all's insolence ceases to amaze me, my wife makes a topic about the "700 billion dollar bill" passing and the only thing any of you post (except broke) is about the way she posted it. do you see a problem here? I do. unlike you all's absurdity, she does not give a flying fuck if it looked right or not. she put what she was thinking. like for instance "the bill has finally passed" if you don't, or didn't know what she was talking about then maybe you should figure it out, not correct it to fit your dialect. anyone with common sense would know what she was talking about and only a complete jerk off would attempt to make her feel small or correct it.

how come no one corrected this retarded shit?

shouldn't it read like this?

"there was something wrong with the title, it really did not make any sense"

point proven, there is some sort of weird obsession going on with me and my wife here. and it has to do with all of you, so I expect now pretty much every guilty party that has this obsession to come talking that same shit.

"it's not about you" and "get over yourself" etc. etc. so save it this time.

If you believe that the title "It has finally past" makes ANY sense at all then...I just don't know.

You don't have to hate on his wife, she's not that bad.

As for this topic; I haven't really looked into this, but from what I understood, this was made to help the banks manage all of the loans they've given out on mortgages and businesses. In my opinion, it needed to be done, or Wamu wouldn't be the only bank going bankrupt and being sold to a foreign country (The U.K. if i'm not mistaken).

I'm not really sure how this affects us besides the fact that it's most likely our tax paying money that's supporting this, which isn't such a bad thing. I'd rather it be going for this, than going for the meaningless wars that we're in. Come to think of it the war IS the cause of the "mini recession", thus causing the economy to falter, so there really isn't a big difference as to where our tax money is being put, so why all the bitching?

Once again I stress that I haven't looked into this, and am just stating what I think is going on from the few things I have heard.

yeah, kind of exactly what I think. it's something that had to be done. I mean if we just printed the money we would end up like russia and using a wheel barrels full of money to go buy bread, I know thats a slight exaggeration. you get the idea though. the banks loaned out more then they had, so tax money had to pay for it. like you said, whats it matter where it's going? you still have to pay taxes either way.

Did you know Russia's economy is drastically rising. Moscow is already home to the most billionaires in the world. Russia also has an oil pipe line that runs into all of europe that they can operate via a 'switch', which makes pretty much all of Europe dependant on Russia. I'd sure love for America to be in the position Russia is in now, minus the communism.

And to correct myself in my previous post, Chase bank was actually the ones that bought out Wamu, but in the future it could be foreign countries buying out our banks if it wasn't for this bill. It might not be a long term solution but it deffinately helps us now.
