Congratulations to Walshy and crew for taking out the Grand Prix. Humungus's reign was short lived, I haven't had the heart to tell the crew we didn't really get there
Lucky it is overall time and not individual scores

Thanks, had a varitey of crew this year HcW Ed, Pete and Burger States Arnie and two others I had never met before then and have never met since SYFA cup great crew my Father in Law and two reprobates called Len and Sue (Doesn’t count but at least I know their names) CoC Absolutely no idea ,On Sat was a great mate, Rock, from Bathurst who hadn’t sailed for 15 years and Pillow organised two others one got excited about flying 15’s and the other was a sparky, Rock had to go home the others never turned up on Sunday so ended up with the pommie guy that lived with Antonia and a bloke off a boat next to us left his boat and jumped on board Nats Coerced Kate and Ben at the 14 nationals in Jan to come to Geelong for a drink and Marc and Brian were dragged in as well, despite finding them playing cricket in the flat with the frying pan and plastic fruit till very late on the first night it started to come together BB Same crew but they found out their skipper can dance (badly) but as Antonia said she (The poor loner I danced with) looked so less sad when she was dancing with someone B2B Same Crew but they found out their skipper can get tired very quickly but they have plans for next year Shame we missed JB but onwards and upwards for next year |

If you could hang onto a regular crew who weren't insomniac members of AA you would be unbeatable
You have done well given some of the just in time crew you have had on board. Look forward to racing some more next year. I wasn't in the zone at Batemans due to having to compete in a rowing regatta (no drinking otherwise you do shithouse) My crew actually think I sail better hungover....but not too hungover Tell Kate she is getting soft, her pick and drives at Batemans were pathetic (but your dancing made up for it) Glad you are taking over from me as being the entertainers of the fleet. |
