From an email received from Ric Fairy who owns E 51 Child’s Play in WA

Hi Jim, we have 2 Elliotts at Nedlands Yacht Club, the other is ” Pretty Woman “, being sailed by our current Commodore Greg Hill.

We have a great deal of fun chasing one another around the river on Sundays, we sail alternate weekend with our neighbouring club

Perth Flying Squadron, althought they don’t have any Elliotts they have a good mix of larger boats Etchells, S 97, Farr 9.2

So that makes for an interesting mix. Season 06/07 we both had a few rather hairy rides with masts hitting the water etc.

Plus some 15 knots on the GPS down wind rides all good stuff.

This season the wind has been a lot lighter, so upwind tuning has made us both a little faster.

Greg had a copy of the last tuning tips, which he shared with me, but any new information would be most welcome.
