It seems like this is us (except Justin who still hasn't entered but is planning to), I am trying to get hold of the Vic boats to see what they are up to. If there is anyone else you know that is keen give them a push. We have organised a class dinner at The Scottish Chief which is one block away from the club at 99 Corio St for Thursday Night. It is a 2 course meal for $35 per head. Could you let me know how many from your boat will attend and their names including nick names so I can do some name tags. On the busy days we may arrange to have some drinks available after sailing on the jetty we tie up at, rather than trying bash into the rabble in the club We have organised a sit down presentation dinner at the club on the Sunday evening. Hopefully it will be as much fun as the one from the other year and I think it is important to recognise the winners. There will also be other awards as well, just not sure what they will be, possibly Jims dodgy handicap series. We also need to discuss where we would like to run the next titles. Seeing as we now have 6 boats in QLD something that allows them to compete would be great. David maybe you could bring your crew of young misfits up from SA and stick them on some of the boats. They don't weigh much, you may even be able to post them there in the mail. Usual arrangements of parking up near the launch ramp and note class rules apply so hatches etc are to be carried. Any questions please don't hesitate to drop me a line |

Hi all party goers, The challenge is on for the no.1 or perhaps the 'sickest looking crew member' of the series. An award that must be presented Jim! As a veteran of 5 Skandia's, I throw down the challenge! "If my memory serves me correctly" At last years presentations someone got a mention for a 4am finish. I sat very quietly at our table knowing I was still recovering from a 5.30am up at 7am with the final day to go. Not a good day, but a great night previously! Skipper didnt know but probably will now. :ph43r: |
