We went out for a Combined clubs race yesterday, had 4 E7's start which was good. We were pushed by Full Frontal and Dangerzone all the way upwind and it wasn't untill we set the chute we pulled away. FF had 5 crew with a weight of about 400kgs we had 340kg so were a bit light on in the 15 - 20 knot wind. It was a great day out on the water with the wind dropping to 10 - 15 by the afternoon, and the race finished with a cracker reach to the finish. Quick Stix got around the coarse which was great to see, it was a long day(4hr race), very glad to get back to the ramp.

Looking forward to stitching up the big boats in the IRC states this weekend and then the Bay 2 Bay next weekend.

Farr 40 1.19 x 2
Zena 1.527 haha
Ross 780 .944

Be a bit windy Friday then drop out to nothing Sat/ Sunday, so fingers crossed we show them how to sail haha.

Not a chance there fella, for starters its bad luck to leave the dock without a beer in your hand, then there's the nerve settler before the start, then if your in front of any boats at a rounding mark thats cause for celebration. So by the time were finished its time for night time drinks!!! :D :D :D

Sounds like B2B was a great weekend. We'll be there next year. Congrats to Jim for the GP win, well done. We flew the Elliott flag at WAGS this week and Quik Stix took home the T-Shirt . Starting to get the act together at last. I suspect our handicap will change a lot. Now who is going to Canaipa next weekend? Any tips. Is anyone taking a big anchor and heavy chain that we can raft up with?

Yep the Barney Army will be there, possibly with a nice young French lady as virgin crew. I have a cruising anchor I will throw in but we will be rafting up to the SixPak as our mother ship and babysitters!!!

Still have not recovered from the B2B!!!

My old phone was rooted, but my old old phone is still working just haha.

We laid your main over the top of ours and realized ours is undersized. Cant wait to take yours and see what the boat is capable of. :D ;)

Gday All,
Wot a shoker we had at the bay to bay, but it was a great time to be had and I must say we learnt a lot. Took me to goes to get around that dam mark with the strong current and that was good bye to the race. Too many skippers on my boat that day. Will see you this weekend Barney, I think one of my crew might have a bottle of the bundy for you to make ammends for the swim. :)

Just ordering a new kite to go with that sweet #1

Was good to meet the mexican elliott guys too,
