Pinstripe vs. Exotherm

I don't know what setup Exotherm is using... argh. It's likely to be the forks, but who knows?

Either way, I'm going for weapon-to-weapon contact. I've got 14 weapon power to Exotherm's 13, which likely means my weapon spins faster, so Exotherm could get knocked upwards on impact. Even if it doesn't, it only has 9 weapon armor, so I'll be doing 5 damage to it, which is a lot. I've got 11 weapon armor, so it will only be doing 2 weapon damage to me. Hopefully I can disable its spinner in this fashion and then attempt to take out the rest of the robot.

It's faster, sure, but it's R4 and I've got the mecanum drive. I won't be able to flank, but I'll certainly be able to prevent Exotherm from flanking me. If BEES uses the big plow, my teeth should give me some priority for getting under it, and if he uses the forks and gets under me, they're not really long enough to get under my wheels (and certainly won't do so before our weapons collide.) If I hit Exotherm's wedge it's basically gone, and if it hits my wedge it'll take a couple hits to do the same.

I'll spin up and go at him, trying to hit weapon to weapon. If I can get a shot at the side I'll take it. I'll stay away from the flippers etc. as much as I can, but attacking Exotherm is equally important.

Good luck Nick!

I've never lived by anyone's rules but my own.
Forks for this one

I think those will have the best chance of getting under that wedge on Pinstripe. The story here is whoever gets under first probably wins. Both of us can easily kill the other. I feel obligated to try to outflank him. A frontal collision seems like it's leaving too much to luck. I have the clear better drivetrain (same traction ratio but +2 speed) so let's first try and get around the sides.

I may not go all the way around but the shape of my forked wedge will give me good play against the corners of his wedge, which look a bit rounded and soft to get under. If I can hook under those front corners, I should have him.

Stay cautious of the many flipping and conveying hazards in this arena, try to outflank, falining that try to hook my forks under the weak corners on his front. Get under first and kill him.

Good Luck
