GHOST-RPING FOR SYLANDROPHOL Start aggressively. Rush Blitz and see whose wedge is better. He's apparently 2WD but the wheels are up front. If he has a rear skid or caster his wedge will be comparable to 4WD static. If he doesn't have one he'll be vulnerable to wheelies. If MC has a better wedge, I can pretty much just stay on the attack. If he has a better wedge, mix between using my better speed to angle in on his forks and making fake rushes where I stop at the last second to bait a wheelie. Either way, when I get under him flip early, then try to chain more flips and nudge him to disrupt his self-righting. His flipper is extremely powerful, but this also means there's a risk of him doing 360s or bouncing back upside-down, and his weapon might take longer to react. Also try to push him onto the floor flippers and conveyor belts leading into them. In general I want to keep him upside-down as much as possible and make him waste his gas self-righting. His shape isn't well-suited to self-righting at reduced power (similar to Chaos 2), so if he runs low on gas he could get stuck inverted. Even if I use up most of my gas, my long stroke will still let me overturn him, and with my flipper fully extended my wheels actually touch the ground and I should be able to self-right by torque reaction since my chassis is nearly vertical. If he gets a flip on me, self-right and back off until I'm fully retracted. Don't fall for hazard-baiting, and whatever good luck thing Syl does at the end of their RPs. |
