¯\_(ツ)_/¯
SC: Speed: 7 / Traction: 6 / Torque: 3 / Weapon: 2 / Armor: 12 (+1 front wedges)
Khnum: Speed: 11 / Traction: 5 / Torque: 2 / Weapon: 1 / Armor: 11 (+2 front) - FORKS

4-bar linkages don't rest on the floor like a rear hinged component does, so they're essentially coming at me with a static wedge sticking out in front of anything that's hinged. so uh, it's free real estate. I have better speed (8 at minimum), but overall worse stats otherwise, which would be much more of a problem if I couldn't exploit the fact that I get under their flipper for free from the front, and MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE makes me push faster than they do :V

so yeah, come out aggressive and stay aggressive. Knowing syl they'll try to get under my fucking sides with a speed disadvantage so just be ready to take the free shot at their sides when they give it to me. otherwise, usual wedge vs wedge tactics. dont press initially, but do start doing it if it becomes necessary, etc etc. unlike usual, I don't really plan on using MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE unless we get locked in a pushing battle, since all the fucking walls have fucking conveyor belts in front of them for some FUCKING REASON, so I'll want to keep control and guide them to the floor flippers instead (or just flipping them with my own lifter). their flipper's arc is really quite poor, and it's a super heavyweight, so it won't be self-righting with just 2 power.

Once they're upside down the rest of the match can just be spent bossing them around and re-inverting them whenever they try to right themselves with the floor flippers - come at them with my lifter raised and use it to clamp down on them as I push them to hazards.

if SC is right side up and my lifter is raised, I can still come at them with just my normal wedges, which will still out do his flipper (and have about a 50/50 on his wedges, and just do the pushy pushy like that

if they get under me, back off with MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE if the flipper's under me. if I'm under the flippers but on the wedges, push back: I'll win eventually with MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE. if they get a flip off on me, it's unlikely to invert me because lul 2 power 4-bars, but so try and back off and get underneath before the flipper retracts. if I am inverted, use a floor flipper to right myself, it'll be faster than my lifter and leave me less exposed.

just in general lord my wedge advantage over them, and keep them upside down to dominate the fight

GHOST-RPING FOR SYLANDROPHOL

Khnum has a massive speed advantage in theory. In practice, if he limits himself to a controllable speed he's at best equal to me, and I have better low-end acceleration. Our wedges are also pretty much equal in theory unless he presses his forks.

All right, then. Basically be aggressive, but with well-controlled aggression. Try to angle in past his forks, and through in feints towards one side – even if he's trying to not drive at full speed, Gabe might use a strong control input on reflex, resulting in massive oversteer. Get under him and flip him over while shoving forward.

His lifter is slow, so I have a decent chance of getting myself off his wedge if he gets under me – he can't really do the same against a flipper if I flip early. I can also self-right much faster. He can of course run away to self-right, so if I get him on his back, chase him. Not only will he lose aggression points, but if he wants to actually outrun me he's going to have to go fast enough to compromise his control and risk running into a wall or arena hazard, especially since they're everywhere in this arena. Once he's upright he still has to retract that lifter, so keep chasing him until he does. If I wedge him while he's inverted, push him to a wall before flipping to try and get him stacked up there, then immediately back off to ensure that if he lands on his wheels he can't rush me before my flipper retracts.

Uhh, basically repeat that for 3 minutes. Don't fall for hazard baiting or other dumb stuff.
