I'll try to box rush, but if Cream's up to full speed by the time I get there I'll back off and get the best angle I can. Hopefully using the flails will make Cream slower to spin up, though, so I may have a chance. I want to get up in Cream's metaphorical face, get in the way of it spinning up, and take out its trackballs with my vertical spinner. If Cream is up to full speed, it's going to be really, really slow in translating speed. With my mecanum drive I'll be able to come in at the best angle possible, aiming to just hit the tip of his flail with my spinner. This should send him off balance and slow him down, letting me move in again. If this strategy works, I'll keep at it until I can hopefully tear off one of the chains, making Cream too unbalanced to spin properly, at which point I'll go in for the kill. If he gets knocked into the wall, that will really slow him down, and I'll go in as fast as I can before he gets the chance to spin up again. I'll do my best to keep my wheels from getting flailed of course. Good luck Noah! |

- I have chains which will wrap around his wedge, hitting either it's side, the front corner, or those wheelguards (which in turn would compromise his wheels) - Spin up, move toward him. Watch as my 16 speed thwack punches 8-damage holes in his front. - Stop spinning and run away like a little bitch if I somehow wind up on his wedge. His weapon only does 3 damage to any part of my robot anyway, which isn't 1-shot kill territory. - Stay in the center of the arena if possible. - My chains should minimize my own knockback by absorbing impact force. If not, then I gain the advantage of both bots getting flung to each end of the arena after each hit. gl hf |
