WE ARE THE HARBINGER OF YOUR PERFECTION

-Harpy is using the wedgelets and I'll be going with the regular wedge.

-I had issues with angling in last week, but it seemed like that was more down to underestimating just how slippery my opponent's omni-drive was going to be. Also the flipper proved more annoying than I anticipated. Harpy is pretty damn fast, but has normal drive and no active weapon so we might fare a bit better here.

-We'll try the angle in approach again here. Like last time, even if I don't actually get under the wedges, my opponent has a stopper that my wedge will catch on before they get under my main chassis. And like last week, I out-torque my opponent, so a deadlock most favors me, and good luck with trying to back away when I'm still faster.

-Either way, wedge or push Harpy towards a hazard. Ideally into a corner to roast her a bit with the flame shooter, but one of the floor flippers would do in a pinch. The goal is to control as much of the fight as possible and get in a good amount of hazard usage.

-Mixing in some some thwacks would be nice whenever I can force Harpy into a corner, or if I'm having any difficulties in pushing her along. Using the wedge teeth set-up, Harpy has all kinds of flat surfaces that I can make solid contact on. True I can't really do any meaningful damage, but landing hits is still good for earning judges points.

-Stay aggressive and try to keep away from the floor flippers myself.

Good Luck!

I should go 3-1 this week but it'll probably be something like 0-4 or 0-5.

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

Spikes for this fight

Harbinger has speed/torque advantage, but that wedge design means that I'll just monstertruck over him if he attempts to push me around. If that happens, turn and get under his rear or sides and take him to the hazards (my 4WD should be sufficient enough to do this). Even if I become inverted getting over Harbinger, nothing changes with the spike setup-it will be equally effective.

This is a purely control match. Even if Harbinger spins up to thwack, the 9-weapon power won't cause more than scratches and I can still come in and push him around. Get those points!

Avoid driving into walls/hazards.

GL Josh!
