HYB: Speed: 3 Torque: 1 Traction: 1 Armor: 9 (+1 to wedge) Weapon: 16 (15 spinner, 1 lifter) Danger Noodle: Speed: 3 Traction: 3 Torque: 1 Armor: 8 Weapon: 15 Very similar stat spread here. Begin facing forwards, plow towards the noodle. Spin up, begin a slow approach. If they try to rush me down, shove the scoop into their drum to try and tank the hit, trying lifting and tipping them off their friction rollers if feasible. If they're taking it slow, pop up the scoop and ram the spinner into one of those wheel clusters, or the very centre of the drum where friction roller rests. If the roller goes, they basically lose all meaningful control and it's game over for them. If it goes, take a bit to spin up again and break a wheel cluster to seal the deal. If not, retreat to spin up again and smack them around some more, again targeting those three locations. Try to stay away from the teeth if possible. If we do go over, selfright then spin up once more. If our spinner dies, try to scoop them into a flipper to knock them over, tanking hits as possible. Good luck to the opposition. |

NOTE: I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM KODY WHETHER YOUKAI BOT GETS WEAPON ARMOR ON THE SHELL DESPITE ALSO APPLYING A BONUS TO THE LIFTER. I'M RPING FOR THE WORST CASE SCENARIO OF IT GETTING WEAPON ARMOR AND NO PENALTY FROM THE LIFTER'S BONUS. USE STAR WHEELS CONFIG PLEASE. All right. Basically we have equal speed and weapon power, but I have better control and can stand up to big hits better. Spin up and come out aggressively. If he's leading with his plow, give it a good smack. Initially his ABR shape will actually bounce me away backwards out of range of followup attacks from him, but with 5 points over its armor I'll be tearing holes in it immediately, letting me grab on and toss him in the air. His gyro forces will help stabilize him a bit but the plow gives me such a long lever arm he'll tilt at least a bit, which given his design means his shell should hit the floor when he lands. If this happens chase after him; at a minimum he'll be slowed and possibly end up coining, giving me a chance for a followup hit. If he bounces into one of the SIX floor flippers he may end up overturned, and he self-rights slowly. If he's leading with his shell or his plow is destroyed, approach cautiously and watch for him going for my wheels. Back off and line up again if necessary to avoid this. W2W is 4-3, but that's actually a big difference because I can immediately start tearing holes in his shell, letting me grab him and throw him in the air, while he has to repeatedly hit in the same spot. I can also uppercut his upper set of teeth, which I'll come into contact with before the lower ones due to the bots' shapes. Again, if I can toss him in the air, he may end up wobbling and hit the floor. Also note that if I flip him and his lifter's been disabled/torn off, he's most likely done. Worst case, DN can lose at least 3 wheels and still have the drum work, and more if I'm lucky. Be aggressive, keep hitting him, and use my better control and wide shape to protect my wheels. Try to either KO him by hitting his body when he's inverted or beat on his shell until it stops and I can throw him around with impunity. And don't drive into the stupid hazards. |
