NFR: Speed: 7 / Traction: 6 / Torque: 4 / Weapon: 2 (Arm) / Weapon: 1 (0+1 weapon bonus - saw) / Armor: 11 - Tri-wedge Exotherm: Speed: 7 / Traction: 4 / Torque: 1 / Weapon: 13 / Armor: 5 so I pretty much lost to this but mecanum in a surprise match last week, which is always motivating . fortunately he has poor maneuverability and an even weaker weapon so I can probably capitalize here even better. also worth noting is that the arm weights almost nothing because I'm literally just powering a polishing wheel with a weakass motor up there if that affected my ability to wedge things at all :Vas a 2WD bot, I pretty clearly out-wedge him, especially since he doesn't have a middle fork on the forked setup I can probably assume he's using, and I do. so uh, get under him from the front and shove him around? do usual wedge things? this part really isn't complicated as long as I drive well (which I will with that control ratio). if this doesn't work well start going more for his sides and shit. there's a couple of ways this can get weird tho. If he starts doing Tokyo drift shenanigans (which seems likely even if he didn't mean to :V ), wait until he's exposed his side, and then move in. clamp down on him and INITIATE THE POLISHING OF DOOOOM if I can get the arm down without it hitting the spinner. If he starts upside down, he'll have even worse control. get to his sides and push him around from there, using the arm to hold him in place while POLISHING HIM AHAHAHAHAHA. if I ever get under him at an angle where I can bring down the arm, do, but otherwise don't bother with it so he doesn't bust it up too bad. if he's gotten in some decent damage, start coming at him using the arm as a lifter, see if I can overturn him to mitigate further damage. I've never lived by anyone's rules but my own.

Anti-wedge forks on the front. Try to get the forks in the gaps on that wedge of his and fling him with the blade. Self-righting will be an issue for him, and the whole arena isn't going to help. If I can't get under try to use the arena's many hazards annoyingly. Good Luck N |
