Howler III's 4 bar spinners are a threat but there is a weakness that I feel he has....gyroscopic problems. Speed and Traction would make me slightly the quicker bot in the arena so I should be able to get across, I want to try and hit Howler III to the sides, yes I'm quite crazy...hitting one of the spinning bars. Not to mention with so much power the weapon my opponent has, trying to knock the sides would do the trick of bending one of the bars and also give Howler III some issues when struck hard and trying to gain balance due to it's ridiculous height. If the situation from the collision of the weapon leads to my bar spinner dying in one hit. then using the wedge would be a back up plan and try to push Howler III to one of the floor flippers and again deliver Hower III the gyro issues. Stick to the plan enough to hopefully try and kill off enough spinning bars. Good luck and may the best (spinning bar) bot

Howler III - 3 speed / 1+1 traction / 1 torque / 17 weapon / 8 armour vs. Chemical Explosion 4 - 5 speed / 3+1 traction / 1 torque / 15 weapon / 6 armour 1. Weapon to weapon, I kill his in one hit, while he's only +3 on mine. His chassis is really soft, with only 6 armour, so once his weapon's gone, so is he. 2. He has a 7 unit to 5 speed advantage and we have the same control difference. It's not really enough to smother me or get a clean shot off on my treads. 3. TBR basically told the world his strategy on discord, and assuming that it's not a setup (in which case, well played), I'll gladly walk right into it. a) Start facing sideways in my square, with one of my outer blades facing him, x-axis. Spin up immediately and make sure we're square for the first contact. b) Be wary for any last minute changes or attempts to slip around my weapon and go for my tracks. If he tries it, cut off his angle by moving forward/backwards putting my weapon into the path of his weapon. c) A single weapon-to-weapon hit should kill his blade and launch both of us. Immediately spin back up and play avoidance. He has six armour, so even if he tries using his wedge, I'll literally only need to be at 12 power to instakill him. If his blade is still intact but dead, don't be picky about hitting it either. I'm +7 on it. d) Keep spinning back up and then turning aggressive, hit him anywhere and everywhere that I can until I've scored the KO. GL TBR, may the better deathspinner win. |
