Wtf. Ok. Lifter, teeth ON Don't worry. The teeth won't get corner damage cause they're rounded to hell as shown in the picture. They're more there to protect the bristles for this match more than anything. Ververg's drive was also accepted and is seen by most people as working. Anything Gabe tries to say otherwise about it is utter shit (cause I'm sure he's gonna say something about it.) Ok. Let's take a look at my opponent. It has an angled spinning weapon that can't damage me, and can also cause him to flip himself immediately when wedged. I don't think "reliable" is the right word to describe the self righting. Bit o Sweet would still struggle to self right all the same. Did I also forget to mention that he risks flipping himself with every move? Because it'll wheelie. Combine that with the blade that reaches the back of the body, and that's gonna be fun to watch. If he spins up, don't bother with pressing. Just makes sure that the lifter hits the blade, sending him into a fit. If he doesn't spin up, or his blade is stopped or slowed, get under his wedge by pressing before contact. If I'm stuck on his wedge somehow, reverse off (yes I can do that). If he tries a mix of both, just press before contact with the blade and plow the mofo. Slam him into walls. Pin if necessary. Main focus: try to flip him over. Idgaf If for whatever reason my wedge isn't working, angle in. If he's successfully wedged, go ahead and try to lift him up. If he's still coming in strong and I am unable to flip him, take him to the house bots. But if I do flip him and he tries to self right, take a look at how DbM does it at the end of this match. See? It might be reliable but it's really easy to disrupt as well. Plow into him if he tries to self right, then pin him against a wall, and see what happens Keep him in front at all times, protect the bristles just in case, and reset the bristles by moving the pod forward to force them in that direction if the bristles are angled in funny directions and driving gets weird. No driving like a dumbass. Good luck |

Moroes: Speed: 6 / Traction: 4 / Torque: 1 / Weapon: 11/ Armor: 7 (+2 bar) Ververg: Speed: 7 Traction: 7 Weapon: 3 Armor: 12 Torque: 3 I feel like he should have probably had to tell me what config he's using but he didn't so I'll assume flipper Bristlebots don't turn well. I can also manipulate the fact that he has to rotate the bristles to turn and reverse, and capitalize on the fact that they apparently don't always work as intended, as he says in his description of the robot. for me, this fight basically comes down to two things: -he can't move when wedged -I have a better wedge than him spinner off, just come at him and force the head-to-head. he'll try to angle in, so counter. shove him into housebots, preferably cold streak if I can manage it for the irony ![]() if he flips me, immediately start up the spinner and start manic-gyroing all over the place until I eventually get upright. can't flip me OOTA if the majority of my chassis isn't on the floor :V if for whatever reason I'm having trouble getting under him, just switch over to horizontal. sure, I don't damage him, but I can still like, scratch paint and cause knockback and shit, which has got to be worth something. I can start alternating between spinner and no spinner to really keep him on his toes. if for whatever reason he does go lifter, there's no way that he can press properly with a bristlebot and still have controlled movement - if he does I'm calling serious shenanigans. at any rate, just angle around it and be very happy that he didn't pick the weapon of his with actual KO potential in this arena.
