You're just a voice pal, you don't know a damn thing about racing!

Salamandra Speed: 6 Weapon: 11 (10 for the disc, 1 for the arm) Armor: 8 (+3 to the front wedge) Traction: 4 Torque: 1 MK Speed: 7 Traction: 7 Torque: 3 Weapon: 3 (Split to 2 each between Flipper and Flamethrowers) Armour: 10 wedge forks/sawblade Leave the square and then wait for him to come to me so I can prepare for his approach. Attempt to angle in when he gets near and bring the saw down. He's more than likely going to face-tank it and push me into the hazards, so I'm going to do as much damage as I can before I have to j-hook away from him and the hazard. If he isn't expecting this, then I may be able to get to his side and cut into his wheel. From there, just keep trying to angle in and cut into him while avoiding the hazards. Avoid the hazards and the house robots. Good luck Zach and may the better bot win. |

The first thing I notice is Salamandra's speed and traction, especially compared to my own. His control is less than perfect while I'm a point faster and have pinpoint control. I also have the torque advantage, so barring MK getting stuck somehow, I should win the pushing war. At the start of the match, fire my flipper while staying in my square and eyeball the middle OOTA wall. If I think I can get Salamandra over it, that'll be my main priority. Otherwise it'll be a push and shove match. Retract the flipper and head out. By now Salamandra should be headed towards me, head towards him. Since hes using the configuration with the spikes on the top, I can't monster truck over him, but those spikes do give me something to push against. If I end up pushing him like this, give him some flames to pass the time while pushing. He may try to bring the saw down on me, but even with the 10 power it'll take 10 seconds to break through my armour. Count the seconds in my head and back off if hes likely to break through. Alternatively, if I somehow manage to get under, flip him up and over and start to chain flips. If I can get him over the wall, great. Otherwise send him into one of the Housebot's corners. Generally just try to control the match, I have the stat advantage to do it. Avoid the housebots myself and don't camp in the narrow areas. GL |
