zip zap zoo Speed 7 Traction 7 Torque 1 Weapon 5 Armour 10 Jokulhaup Speed: 4 Traction: 2 Torque: 1 Weapon: 16 (two spinners driven by same motor - 15 power each) Armor: 7 drive as close as possible to the outa wall and keep to the side opposite him and play defensive let him come to me make sure I am facing him and at the last moment if he tyres to lung me reverse let him drive into the angled wall letting me get to his side (there by him extending him self to far or by hitting the wall and giving me the angle to get in) to get a good flip that could either outa him or high centre if not use the corner wall to make it hard for his spinners to spin up go full aggression when I get to his side or rear but paly smart don't let his spinner hit me keep close to the outa wall and switch between defensive when he is spinning play aggressive when I am at his rear or side if he gets away form me and spins up pretend to box rush and faint back out to force him to show me a way to his side or rearonly flip if I'm under and when I get 1 flip keep on him make it hard for him to get back into the fight... avoid hazards and house robots use the outa wall good luck |

DISCS SPINNING OUTWARD PLEASE. Pat can’t really “bot rush” in this arena, but he’ll probably be aggressive. Get out of the starting square and start spinning up, then see which way he’s going to reach me, and REVERSE in the opposite direction, giving me as much time to spin up as possible. Counter-rotating discs mean no adverse spinup torque. If he tries to flank me, while he has a much better drivetrain, he has to get around the very wide area covered by my discs – it will be hard to completely avoid contact. Try to keep my weaponry facing him, and if he presents his corners while trying to get around me, then go for them. If he wedges me from the side I can use the wheel on the opposite side to pivot a disc right into his corner, and if he wedges me from behind my weapon will probably hit the ground and bounce me away. He’ll also have trouble pushing me with only 1 torque. If he’s attacking head-on, try to hit his flat vertical corners – I can potentially oneshot him. Preferentially attack with my LEFT disc by turning slightly RIGHT before impact: the left disc is lower to the ground and can more easily smack his corners. Reverse this if I’m inverted. If he angles in, attack his non-flipper front panels on the same side instead – I can still create openings with multiple hits on the same spot. Stay away from the narrows, and avoid being hit when I’m directly between him and the inner OOTA walls. Keep as much distance from the walls as possible unless he’s been flanking me too easily – in that case back up against the outer walls to stop that, but don’t camp there if he isn’t taking the bait. Otherwise use standard spinner vs. brick tactics: retreat as necessary to avoid getting smothered, but be as aggressive as possible. Don’t drive into hazards or attack in ways that let him drive me into them. And go for that knockout! Good luck etc. etc. |
