I'm definitely not averse to making rule changes, as you know, but I try to stay away from those that would render a significant number of designs null and void close to a deadline. If anything, BS like this makes me wanna say "fuck it" and impose the 22 rule right now.

Ridiculum et Terribilis Posts: 1,035 Group: Members Member #197 Joined: May 26, 2016	By what people are saying, I'll assume that all outstanding issues have been rectified and all robots are in compliance with the rules (including the drivetrain rule). I'll be doing a final check on Sunday, and anything not in compliance will be modified so that it complies. Anything that cannot be modified (such as running afoul of the drivetrain rule) will be disqualified from the tournament. Sorry to sound like a hardass, but I want everybody's robots to perform exactly how they're expected to perform, within reason, and for opponents to not have to interpret overly ambiguous designs. With that said, my final team will be unveiled shortly. Best of luck to all.
