Unless the idea is that ramming the thing tears giant holes in it, but doesn't do anything to the bot's innards because it's all empty space.

But that's even worse. The post went live at 6:24 AM on July 6, and a mere 3 minutes later, the tournament organiser in question was alerted to the rogue roboteer. At least, I hope he's rogue. How did it happen? Well, the ARC user hadn't removed the weird-ass wheels from the uploaded photo, which suggested the culprit ate plenty of dicks. This was at 6:27. Three hours later at 9:27, the TO posted with wishes for more writing staff. 5 minutes later, the news station was contacted by another 4channer. And three minutes later, at 9:30, a link was posted: ARC’s online forum. The undercutter photo, otherwise known as exhibit A, was attached. The police contacted the forum in question the next day. When questioned, the admin said "Oh, I know who that is. He's getting kicked out of the tournament." Mystery solved, by 4chan. Now we can all go back to making speed wedges in peace.

Without that, I admit it would go from being a stretch to being simply absurd. Also, yeah. We discussed that a bit in my showcase thread, and the armour rating also reflects the sheer amount of empty space.

Ridiculum et Terribilis Posts: 1,035 Group: Members Member #197 Joined: May 26, 2016	Okay, so then it has 7 body armour that doesn't cover the whole body (since it's just a series of bars) and 13 plow armour (due to the use of graphene) plus a lot of empty space that acts as a buffer zone and isn't quantifiable in terms of armour rating. I mean, I was just trying to give it a number so that it made sense with our stat system. Now, if the idea behind this question and the others like it is 'Alex, please don't enter this unrealistic POS, it's cheap as all hell', then that's something I can understand, so just say it and I won't be offended. If enough people feel that way, I'll pull it. No big. I thought this was a fun kind of tournament to have something like Deus Ex in, since it's not like I'm actually going to get to RP for it.

I'm honestly not all that bothered by it in this case, because if people think that Deus Ex is unrealistic or unfair, that's a viewpoint that I can understand. NBD, I'll just enter FURY. I don't do wedges (except for Firebrand, but we don't talk about that). Also, Euphoberia Ferox is #2 on the official Monsterworks list of Ridiculum et Terribilis, which is the sole officially licensed and authorized list. Deathbloom is a solid #3, Freedom takes #4, and Bastille has gotta be a shoe-in for #5. After that, it's probably a scrap between Justice and FURY for #6, though Flying Circus definitely warrants some attention, as do Bluetooth and Orthocone. How about Glacier II? I am quite frankly offended that you neglected to mention it. Mordor and Wiwaxia are also offended. Ankylosaurus and Carbonemys are oldies but goodies. Mastodon deserves some love as well, especially given its success. Then there's Osiris which is only 'normal' relatively speaking. Seadevil? Brimstone? Howler II? Cracked as fuck. The Tricerabots are a way to make a simple flipper design positively baroque. Double Rainbow is somewhat reasonable, I guess, but wtf even are Dunkleosteus, Venom, and Antivenom? Ah man, though. Just wait til you see Safe Space. You are gonna love that one. TBH, I'm starting to wonder if you even know me, if you're even the real Drew, and consequently, if someone offed the real Drew, Whodunnit?
