Glad you like it so far, Josh- hopefully it'll be even better once the 3D CAD is ready and the stats are aligned. With a bit of strategy and planning, I can hopefully continue where Hubris left off and keep on proving that having two weapons on an ARC robot isn't a bad thing.
Yes it is- even though it's got a similar basic weapon configuration as Cambridge's favourite robot, it's very different internally. It runs on 4 wheel drive with bulletproof aluminium alloy drivetrain protectors for extra resilience against any nasty spinners, is fully electric-driven, and should in theory have a top speed of about 10mph, with good controllability and push behind it. The Axe is electric-driven and can hit up to three/four times a second, and the Bar Flipper runs on low-pressure CO2 gas, much like M2. The advantage of using low pressure is that it lasts much longer than a conventional high-pressure flipper, but is still strong enough to self-right effectively, quickly dispatch vulnerable opponents with a flip, and get at their vulnerable baseplates with the axe. |

I have a new concept that may change around a few lineups in the MW division. Spur will probably end up getting booted out. Also, I'm planning a LW joke bot for CBBR which would end up moving Slither into this tournament. Fear... KURIBOT!!! |

Team Mongoose The Colour of Awesome LW - Frequency ![]() Motor-on-top bar spinner with all-around hinged skirting, with a restricted arc so as to prevent them going into the path of the bar. Four wheel drive, square stance for improved stability. Self-righting is possible, but not guaranteed. Strengths: Weapon Power, Armour. MW - Brick ![]() THE ULTIMATE SPINNER KILLER. Built entirely out of granite, completely indestructible, and featuring the world's longest brass nail! Okay, none of that is true. It's an invertible four-wheeled box with a spike. That's kind of it. Strengths: Armour, Wheel Power HW - MiDAS <img src='http://gametechmods.com/../uploads/images/41714MiDAS II.png' border='0' alt='user posted image'> Golden six wheel drive machine with dual electric lifting arms teamed with an electric axe that strikes twice a second. Hinged skirts on either side and a shock-mounted plow on the back. Should be able to self-right fairly easily. Strengths: Jack Of All Trades SHW - Broken Ghost ![]() Over-klone that I received from Kody (much thanks =P) and applied a little paintwork to. Big-ass blade to slice your potatoes into very small pieces, nice tough frontal wedge to push them all into a neat little pile, and big wheels to keep on rollin', rollin', rollin. You may also replace potatoes with robots if you so desire. Strengths: Wheel Power, Armour |

Ice Cubed Robotics LW- Conqueror ![]() The younger brother of the FRR Dead Zone Bronze Medallist Dreadnought, Conqueror is certainly not one to be messed with. Whilst lacking its older brother’s pneumatic spike, it makes up for it with better agility, a lower profile, adjustable air suspension for driving over or under opponents, and refined plumbing for its weaponry- diverting full power to its bigger Cassius II-style flipper so that it fires faster and more powerfully. Even with these changes, it still maintains the awesome all-round capabilities that allowed the original Dreadnought to take the MW division by storm. Strengths- Wheel Power, Armour. MW- Marauder ![]() A tank-like and predominantly anti-spinner design that runs on custom-built steel tank tracks that give it particularly great traction and power, is protected by thick armour, and is armed with a powerful reinforced Lifting Wedge, electrically-driven and capable of working both ways up, as well as a pair of removable Tungsten-tipped Ramming Spikes. Its track-based design also allows it to run unhindered when inverted, climb up steep inclines and over opponents when its wedge is raised, and even lift its own front end off the ground with its weapon- no idea how I'll use it, but probably as a victory pose. Strengths- Armour, Track Power HW- Discord ![]() Named after the reality-warping God of Chaos from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, this is a versatile and powerful design that's armed with a low-pressure Bar Flipper, and an electrically-driven Tanto Axe that can strike up to four times a second. It runs on 4WD with bulletproof aluminium alloy drivetrain protectors, for both extra resilience against spinners and good all-round speed, manouverability and torque. It's also further protected by thick armour and wedges on both ends, making it a solid, reliable and well-armed design that should be quite a mean all-round competitor. Strengths- Weapon Power, Armour. SHW- Black Mamba ![]() Running on a very low and stealthy profile and surrounded by protective skirt-hinge wedges, ICR’s second Super Heavyweight uses a powerful and versatile four-bar Lifting Arm to deal with its foes in a variety of creative methods. It achieves this with a pair of special attachments on the end, consisting of a triangular Tyre Cutter for shredding wheels, and a pair of heavy-duty Spikes for sliding neatly into wheel arches and other such gaps. Named after one of the most aggressive and dangerous types of snake in the World, it’s an adaptable and reliable machine that certainly lives up to its namesake’s sinister reputation. Strengths- Wheel Power, Armour. |

Team Zlayerz LW Kite ![]() ![]() Kite here is a 27kg (LW) flipper similar to The Matador. Driven by 24v drill motors and 2 wheels near the front (not as much as The Matador, though. S5-Matador could hardly turn about), Kite is as manoeuvrable as it gets. The powerful flipping arm can flip around a tonne on the tip. The 6063 aluminium alloy exoskeleton and 2mm Grade 5 titanium armour provide some protection against heavy-duty weaponry. Weapon Power Wheel Power ---- MW Xianghua ![]() Weighing in at 54kg, Xianghua is no pushover. She is well-driven with A28-400 Ampflow motors run on 24v, and has decent Titanium/Vanadium armouring surrounded by a Steel exoskeleton except on the powerful flipper (all of the frontal pink area, no matter the hue, is the flipper, btw). She has enough in the tank for 30 flips, and can topple around 750kg. What makes the flipper a force to be reckoned with is that it has a torsion-sprung mechanism which allows Xianghua to pull down the flipper further, until an opponent comes over the flipper. A sensor in the mechanism detects an opponent on the arm and releases the spring, firing the flipper automatically, meaning the flipper should get underneath all skirts and most other flippers. It is not that powerful, and by that I mean not enough to detriment the drivetrain. Also, the flipper can still be fired manually in case she needs to self-right. Wheel Power Weapon Power ---- HW Intriguality ![]() ![]() All you need to know: http://teamzlayerz.proboards.com/thread/25/intriguality (bottom post) Weapon Power Armour ---- SHW Teresa ![]() ![]() ![]() Teresa is an invertible 2WD angled octal shape, similar to Turtle Road Kill, but even lower and with more leverage. All body armour panels minus the top and bottom are angled really low at 25 degrees, effectively making them great wedges. This, combined with the octal shape, makes it extremely difficult for a horizontal spinner to really do much damage. On top of that, there is a scoop set-up explicitly for horizontal spinners, as well as axes that she can block using the scoop. The fangs on top (ala Copperhead) are removable in case I need them to be. The most noticeable feature, however, is the hidden spike within the lifter, run off high-pressure pneumatics. Simply put, I lift the opponent up and then fire the spike - OUCH! - right into their underbelly. The lifter goes 180 degrees without the scoop, and 95 degrees with it. She can right herself, by the way, if it ever comes to that. She can raise the lifter and then fire the spike to push herself right side up again. Armour Wheel Power |

Team Blood Gulch LW: Harbinger An invertable duel thwackbot and clampbot. The jaws can clamp down on bots whenever he needs to ASSUME DIRECT CONTROL, and can sit and thwack whenever DIRECT INTERVENTION IS NECESSARY.
