I've had a good bit of success this season against spinners with poor traction, having them ricochet into the walls behind them. Windmill's got a huge blade, so the same strategy should work. As usual against spinners, I have an advantage in every category but weapon. His weapon is double my armor though, so I should be careful. My front lifters should be able to sustain and few hits as they hold no vital parts and protrude from the chassis.

I have no choice but to go right for him at the start of the match. I need to get to him before he moves too far away from his square. I'm counting on him hitting my front arms and due to his high weapon and low traction, spinning and flying into the wall behind him.My higher traction and the fact that his weapon won't hit any vital internals, I should be able to recover fast and go after him before he can spin up.

His wheels are tiny, so I can easily get them off of the ground with my lifters and probably just by getting under him with my wedge. If he starts spinning while I'm under him, I can just lift him and push him blade-first into the wall. I'll give a tour of the hazards and let them shred his 3 armor. If I flip him over, his blade will touch the floor, and while it will still spin, his drive (especially with those small wheels) will suffer, making it even harder for him to manuver correctly. He'll find himself over correcting or not being able to turn fast enough. As long as after the initial big hit, I can keep him from spinning up and moving away from me for another hit, I can dominate him.

I just need to use the fact that I can get his wheels off the ground easily to keep control of him and keep from spinning up. I can use my superior drive to stay on top of him.

I'm going to start upside down for this match, in my 'under-cutter mode' to make it more efficient to attack his wedge. The caster that protrudes out of my the center of my spinner, and is mentioned in the description will prevent my spinner from hitting the ground. Since it is a caster, the rotation of the blade will not affect the rest of my robot while I am in this mode.

He has a speed of 7, to my 4, meaning that it's going to be hard for him to get around my spinner. He's going to have to attack me head on, which is going to result poorly for him. I have double the weapon to his armor, and I wouldn't be surprised in seeing his lifter completely wrecked by the end of the fight, much like Rascal's was.

By doing this match upside down, I also make it much harder for his lifters to actually work on me. Getting under me will only result in his lifters getting beaten, and I'll be hard to control with my high powered spinning bar constantly trying to move. He'll need to get my spinner completely stopped in order to take control, and I'll be making sure he has a bitch of a time doing it. My wheels protrude out of the top of my chassis pretty well, so starting upside down will also give me more ground clearance to try and back off him, should he get under me.

I want to drive out to the middle of the arena as fast as possible. A common tactic in this tournament has been to knock spinners into walls, either to immobilize the weapon or, at the very least, slow it down. This tactic has been used against RATA, Jack Frost, and I4NI, just in the last week, with quite some success. By staying in the middle, and moving back in after every hit, I hope to neutralize this effect. I also hope that before every collision, I move slightly against the direction of my spinner (for shits and giggles we'll just say my spinner spins clockwise, so I would turn to the left before every hit). This would have the effect of making me more likely to pull a complete 360 degree turn right after a collision. My goal here is to get my spinner facing him again as soon as possible, and since I already have momentum pushing me in that direction, I might as well exaggerate momentum to get me facing Demonic Visage as fast as possible. (Another thing to note is that by doing this, I exert less force in my own bot by not putting additional resistance on the direction of the spinner, simply put it would make each hit less likely to knock my ass out. Only by a couple percentage points, mind you, but enough to note.

It's also worth noting that Demonic Visage doesn't have particularly great traction, and is a two-wheeled robot. In fact he only has 5 traction as compared to Windmill's 3 traction, and both robots have two-wheel drives. While its true that this would ordinarily allow him to recover faster than me, it wouldn't be by that much; certainly not enough to get right on me before my spinner got up to speed again, and definitely not enough if I'm using the tactic that I detailed above.

Recap:
-Each hit is gonna knock the shit outta him. There's quite a likelyhood of me knocking out his lifter just like I did to Rascal.
-Start the match upside down
-Turn against my spinner to exaggerate the directional knockback, hopefully throwing me a full 360 degrees and facing Demonic Visage as fast as possible
-His traction is only slightly better than mine. Any hit will find his ass knocked just as far as mine.

Good luck.
