Ok, for this fight, I'm relying primarily on the hope that this is one of Joey's bots. *rimshot* Sorry. This will be an interesing fight. Stay close to the wall and spin up. With his incredible speed advantage he has over me, this is to my advantage to stay near the wall. If he's going for the side, pivot and keep the disc and wedge facing him. Or if it happens that way, the spring-loading should keep the side scoops low while turning, and I could slide under him that way. Now, he's got magnets on his skirts..... so did Babaganoush, and a hinged wedge raeped him in the finals. How much more should a spring-loaded wedge array. Granted, this isn't an attempt at a circular wedging system, but the magnets still weren't enough. I should be able to get under him. And each time we meet, the odds should be in my favor. The and low-rising design of Gabriel V is exactly the kind of opponent I had in mind when designing Pinpoint. If my little pink tongue gets under his wedges, I can scoop him up and grind him. Trap and rape, as the expression goes. His weapon is only 8, while mine is 10. He's not getting away. And if I've got him scooped and trapped, traction won't matter too much, since the trapping should reduce any throwing. Grind up his wedge and weapon. If he gets under me, there's no way he'll hold me. With the design of his wedges, I'll just slide off him before he can get a hold on me and flip. Those forks aren't much good for holding, especially with my wheels in the back of the bot. I can shake loose. And if my sides slide under his spikes, I can manipulate him a little bit, too. Not too much, but enough to negate his flipper from ever getting a flip on me. If he flips me, keep fighting as a disc. Be more aggressive and lay into him. See if he'll flip me again, and get me back on the wedge. Good luck... whichever one of you is behind the controls this time. |
| There are few crimes in our modern society that merit public beating. Interrupting someone's enjoyment of Messiah to request "Jingle Bells" by the Singing Dogs is irrefutably one such offense. | |
