Shovearound vs Shockwave

Shovearound sucks something awful this year, but I still owe it to win one fight and I'll be happy. Looking at Shockwave's stats right off the bat, he has two major problems that I can easily exploit: Poor control [7 to 3 speed to traction disparity] and poor chassis armor [5 base armor, 1 bonus to both the front and back, knocking down to 2 armor. That's an issue because my main form of offense is to ram him into the hammers, which will strike his top, and not his front or back]. Both of these major weaknesses don't combine well at all, because bad control means he's prone to spinning out and giving me a clear shot at getting under him, meaning I can easily shove him into the hammer and do some ridiculous damage to his 3 chassis armor.

The whole bait and switch didn't work on Santaction Engineer [Speaking of that, the quick access page being behind the times is the primary reason I thought SE would fuck up a lot more than he did, so I have a bit of a score to settle with da force :P], but I'm more than willing to bet it's going to work on Shockwave as his control issues are twice as apparent. In addition to all of that, Shockwave's also slower than the Engineer [His traction's the issue], so I can get out of the way before his poor braking comes into play faster. This plan should have a MUCH larger success rate than it did with zee Engineer, so I'm going to give that another try at the start of this fight. If I get under him, one trip to the hammers, pronto.

Whether it works or not, then just play it by ear and stalk him around [although not really making any aggressive maneuvers, just make him prepare for an assault at any time], always keeping him on his toes which in turn will demand a lot of moving around for him. Just going to be a matter of time before he slips up somehow, and when that happens, make my move and go for his side or back. Take him to the hammers, rinse, lather, repeat.

That should do it, and here's to the fallen titans of the Middleweight lifters, eh, G-Force? This is gonna be a good one, good luck to you.

[Speaking of which, myself and Shockwave are 1 for 1, so let's have ourselves a tiebreaker!]

Not to be confused with the gerbil movie.
ugh. i hate lifter versus lifter matches.

i can sit here and type every way that I can try and get under shovearound. I can say that i'm +1 faster, so I'm going to maneuver to the corners and sides and get under and flip. no shit, sherlock.

but after reading results, after planning RPs, after looking at odds, my wins, losses, etc.. it really doesnt matter. it's a crap shoot of "who's lower" and "who's luckier."

so that's why this RP is so short. I'm not going to waste my time trying to convince whoever's writing this result that I have a better strategy to get under him. because it really is about luck. chance. errors on your opponent's part.

so any results writer with half a brain knows what I want to do. get under shovearound. obviously, that gives me that chance to clamp him, lift him, take him for a night on the town.

so as i cross my fingers and keep an eagle eye on all the shit that's going down in the arena.. just do what i have to do. i may have just handed this match to him, i'm not sure.
