Final Boss: Armor: 7 Speed: 6 Traction: 4 Weapon: 5 Inflammatory Slammer: Speed: 9 Armour: 5 (+1 lifter) Torque: 5 Weapon: 3 I like Final Boss' design, and it can probably out-manouevre me, so i going for old-fashioned speed and ram here. I'd like to get it stuck on the top spikes so that I can it to the pulveriser, so the plan is to ram head on and use my speed to get under the hinged skirts, then keep him on my top spikes and take him to the pulveriser. If Final Boss somehow manages to escape my top spikes, then I will use my lifter to remove his traction and head for the drum or killsaws. Good luck!

Well he is pretty damn fast, but he also only has 5 traction to cover that 9 speed, which means he's pretty much begging for driving problems, and the key for me will be to take advantage of that. If I can get around the lifting arm, I should have a pretty good shot at getting under him. I think I could also get under the lifting arm itself if need be, but I don't want to risk it unless I absolutly need to. So at the start, I'll come out and do what I can to get around the lifter. If he's rushing, then I just have to be cool, and wait for him to make a desicive move. I should be able to counter him and then get under him. If he plays it more slowly, then I have to be more aggressive and count on my superior speed/traction ratio to give me the advantage. Either way, once I can force my way under him, I want to try and flip him over. He's allegedly invertible, but at ARCcon, there was much talk that based on his design, re-righting would be pretty much impossible for him, so I want to test that. I'll be nearby on the chance that he does self-right, and at that point, I'll just keep on flipping him as often as I can. I'll work in the hazards as well, and just keep aggressive. If he does get under me, I should be able to drive off as I should still have some wheels on the ground, but I can self-right if need be, and I have pretty good armor if I get in the hazards. Good Luck! |
