Shadow Zone Forever Speed: 10 Armour: 6 (+1 plow) Weapon: 1 Traction: 5 Automation Speed: 8 Armour: 6 Weapon: 2 Traction: 6 Fuck the plow, I'm using the rear flipper spikes here. I'm faster, but he's got more traction, so he has more control. We both have the same armour. His weapon power is greater than mine but that's kinda moot. Now, I really don't know how low to the ground those front spikes of his are, but I'm not too sure they'll get under my own spikes. I seem to be more powerful as well due to my 4WD so I can power under him too. I'm just going to rely on brutal aggression here. Ram straight into him, there's no way I'll get to his sides (but if the opportunity arises, I'll take it, lol) so just slam him. Once underneath, bring to pulverizer immediately, or just mash him into the wall if there's no pulverizer in sight. If I miss my charge, spin around immediately after I start slowing down, so he doesn't take advantage. If I find myself flat on his wedge, fly over it before he can use the wedge spikes. With my 10 speed, I hope it'll be easy to do, lol Not much else to be said, good luck again, Alex. |

If I'm lower then that's great. I'd assume that I am lower since the way my wedge hinges puts me at a lower angle than his rear flipper spikes or plow. So hopefully the lowness factor gives me the advantage here. Lets look at those goddamn stats. He has +1 armor for his plow, so that actually leaves the rest of his robot vulnerable at 5 armor. It's not terrible, but it's at the level where he's going to be worried about accidentally driving over the saws or getting taken to the hammers. This, combined with the fact that he has crazy high speed and only average traction means that he'll often be flying off into walls and over the saws. It will be extremely hard to maintain control against me and I hope to take full advantage of that. Automaton was made to be a calm, controlling robot and I hope to use that to counter the aggression that he's sure to bring. I'm going to use my lifters as a clamp this match. Yeah you thought I was all out of tricks up my sleeve but inventive alex comes up with another one. I'm going to leave my lifter arms raised so that they're pretty much perpendicular to the floor at the start of the fight. Come out slowly and wait for him to charge at my face. If and when he goes up my wedge, immediately lower my lifter arms and raise my holding claws. This combination should trap him a lot faster than just using one, and keep a good grip on him. From there it should be a common combination of the saws and hammers, which should do a real number on his 5 armor chassis. |
