The Thwacking Head: Speed: 8 Weapon: 0 Traction: 8 Armour: 6 Hyper-Ventilate 1.2: Speed: 8 Armour: 6 (+1 front wedges, -1 elsewhere) Torque: 5 Weapon: 3 eep. reigning champion alert! We have equal speed and armour, but he has a better speed/traction ratio. However that doesn't bother me too much in this fight. The main plan is to push the lifting arm down, making the ground clearance less than zero, and ram the front of the Thwacking Head. I should get under his front scoop, sprung or not, and I'll then be able to swiftly lift him up and flip him over. Once upside down he can't self-right and both scoop and overhead thwack are useless - the only thing he can do is spin, and if I'm underneath he can't do that. Once I've managed to flip him I'm not flipping him again - from then on the plan is to act like a normal wedge, getting under the Thwacking head with ease and taking him to the pulverisers and maybe the killsaws, but most certainly not the drum in case it flips him back over. Good luck Martijn!

the front wedge litteraly scrapes the ground with its entire mass, so I can see an interesting meeting if we meet wedge-to-wedge, though even if he gets under my I cant see his lifter being able to lift BOTH my wheels off the ground, at all, and my acceleration is big enough to simply drive out of whatever deathlock he tries to put me in, which is what Im gonna do. Offensively I will try to get around his sides, in terms of maneuverability this is an interesting encounter by the fact that my wheels are in the middle of my machine rather than way at the rear like with Hyper-Ventilate may tip the balance in my favour, as does the fact I can by counter all his attacks by simply "driving off and trying again", and alternatively I may also end up getting underneath his front. Once under I will bring the axe down asap and keep on bringing it down until he escapes. At all times face him with the wedge, if he tries to attack me bring down my axe before he can bring in his weapon, and reverse. Good luck Lewis!!!!! |
