Shiiiit. This guy is tough.

We have EQUAL speed and traction, so that's scary. He has a huge armour advantage so my axe will be next to useless here, unless I can get a good shot in on his wheels. Despite being LowDown, however, his front wedge doesn't look all that heavy so I'm questioning its effectiveness on a low-to-the-ground scoop like mine. My scoop is as low as my side skirts, and is quite bottom heavy so it should easily get under his light front. Now, since we both have equal power advantages, there'll be no trying to get to his side or anything. Just a frontal collision is needed.

I'll just come right at him, get under, clamp him, and drag him off for a pounding at the pulverizer. That should do a number of him even despite his armour. And basically I'll do that the entire fucking match.

If I'm unable to get under him, I'll have to play it evasive. Move in, take a shot, and back away, and keep doing that until I get under him/the buzzer sounds.

That's pretty much all that can be said, good luck Daniel.

Wow. I am actually worried about this fight. As soon as I saw the fight I was confident about winning.... until I checked Terminus' stats. We're both very similar in terms of the layout of the machine (4WD, sprung front wedges/scoops, equal speed and traction etc.) so this fight could go either way. Luckily for me I have very strong armour, which should easily withstand any hits from Terminus' axe, as well as damage from arena obstacles.

For this fight I am going to add the front spikes to the sprung wedge. Te main idea behind this is as follows:

By having the front spikes added to the sprung wedge, the mass is focussed on a smaller point than if the sprung wedge was used solely on it's own. By having the mass at two small points rather than one huge wide one, there is more weight being thrown onto those small points and, therefore, more force. (Kunz, K. 2009. MSN Convo dated 9th July).

I'm gonna go all guns blazing and slam straight into Terminus from the offset - trying to get to its sides and back. The sooner I get underneath it the more damage I can do to it by taking it to the arena obstacles - focussing on damaging the weaponry and the armour. The only limitation I have in this full frontal onslaught is to act defensive if Terminus aims to get to my sides. If Terminus acts offensive - LowDown is to go defensive in order to ensure it does not get underneath.

RECAP:
* Adding the spikes to the sprung wedge allows more force on a smaller point.
* Aim to damage the weaker armour of Terminus by using the arena hazards.
* Keep Terminus away from my sides.

Best of luck, Kody! This is gonna be an awesome match! :)
