Really nice, Paul. The only problem I see...exposed rear end. I mean really exposed, it looks like mechanics are exposed at the rear, do correct me if I'm wrong though. |

good call. I'll put some sort of wedge, spikestrip, or at the very least extra armor |

Yeah, either crank up the armor stat or cover up those wheels. Weak armor and exposed wheels do NOT mix well, fix one or the other. |

No. That would be exposed wheels with poor armor. I said "One or the other" for a reason. |

Nice new design. I like it a lot. I also like the way you render your bots. Yeah, something on the back would be cool so that it could be more versatile. Other than that, job well done. |

It all depends on how well my bots do this season, but I've got a few ideas... LW: Thwedge is staying I think, definitely if he reaches the play-offs, but he's leading his conference right now so I expect I'll keep him, with a few modifications. Stats are unlikely to change, but I'm thinking of adding wheel guards and some small spikes to the wedge to help control opponents. Also I've noticed that he's badly equipped to fight spinners, so I'm thinking of having an anti-spinner ram attachment to replace the thwacking arm in certain fights, leaving him as a straight rammer. MW: Hyper-Ventilate 1.2 is certainly going unless he achieves some sort of miracle I'm thinking a whole new robot here, I have in mind a vertical spinning disc on a drain-pipe style chassis with an anti-spinner ram on the back... But you'll have to wait and see ![]() HW: I have an odd desire to work on Compression, just to see if I can somehow bring a half-decent horizontal grabber for ARC. Having looked at the rules for grabbers more closely I can certainly think of a better stat allocation, and a more original design springs to mind too... I have an idea that may work, but it needs more developing before it's revealed. And of course Compression may be tossed out the window in favour of some big flipper ![]() SHW: Depends on Inflammatory Slammer's success very much, but expect to see Inflammatory Slammer MKII next season, I have plans they are crap though

Presenting...(yes, I'd planned the name before I even saw the Xenon redesign of Shockwave =P) Killobite Sigma ![]() Another HW design, a crusher, but if I can't get my SHW flipper concept to work, I'll throw him in the SHW class instead. Always helps to be prepared, lol Anyway, it's a 2WD vertical crusher with lifting forks to get under while the crushing arm gets even. |

Thanks! Here's another, my SHW flipper concept: Parental Advisory: Explicit Content ![]() ![]() ![]() Basically a 2WD flipper, but with a twist. I can start out right side up or inverted. Starting right-side-up leaves me with a good power flipper. Starting inverted leaves me with a dustpan that has barbs on it (small enough to allow a bot in, but pointed enough to keep 'em in the dustpan). Plus, I can still flip in that position but it's basically throwing myself over. Comments? Suggestions? Teacakes? |

That's a really interesting concept, I like it a lot. I'm a big fan of bots that are two in one, like some of my own. |
