I sincerely hope you are joking, Asb. I would never accept projectile weapons, let alone a goddamn shotgun? That's one hell of a no-no. You have one more chance to enter legitimate bots before I preemptively ban you from the tournament. This is not funny. |

Wait, a freaking shotgun? Completely illegal, and it's not like it'd even do any good, anyway. You ever tried shooting something like the metal they use to armour combat robots with nowadays? It literally does nothing. |

What are you thinking? A shotgun weapon? not quite creative at all, hate to be a critique but you seriously need to get some thinking caps on and redesign that machine, I'm not having any projectile weapon on a robot. |

MW is up. Good luck finding a counter to that. :V On another note, I have unilaterally decided that The Battlegrounds is definitely the only arena for this tournament. After experiences in the previous two Ruinations with other arenas, and Cherry Bomb Classic doing its thing, I would really prefer to stick with one arena this time. It's less of a hassle that way and it makes it easier on everyone else. Also for once, I'd really like to get bot screenshots rendered for the tournament. So if there are people out there who have Rhino renders for me to use, please send them to me! And if there are people who have Rhino3D and would like to step up, help me render some SketchUp/TinkerCAD/Blender/wtfever bots so I can use them! Thanks! |

No no silly Dome of Dismay was a bot I made for Showbots this year. And it was also the forum's first ever smotherbot. And of course it got pitted up against a deathspinner in the first round, so it never got to fight to it's full potential. But I have stats for the next one if you want to see how it will all pan out

!!!IMPORTANT!!! There is a new rule being implemented for this tournament! Discussions with NFX about armour bonuses have led to a new change to the armour bonuses rule. This is specifically to discourage armour bonuses a little. When stacking armour bonuses onto a robot, deduct the triangle number of however many points you're adding from your main Armour. So +1/-1, +2/-3, +3/-6, +4/-10 and so forth. Examples: Pursuit has 9 armour. He puts +1 on his rear plow, giving the plow 10 armour and leaving the body with 8. Mimete has 10 armour. She puts +2 on the rear plow, giving it 12 armour and leaving the body with 7. Shadow Zone Forever has 8 armour. It puts +3 on the rear wedge, giving it 11 armour and leaving the rest at a paltry 2. Sleipnir has 10 armour. It can't give a +4 to its front wedge because, even though its front would be 14 armour, the body would be 0 and that is illegal. I did initially have a harsher rule in place, and I may implement it next tournament if this does little to deter armour bonuses. |

I am dubious due to its potential to weaken Axes, but im willing to work with it for now ( as if I really have a choice there ) E: although this does make Warlock pretty much useless the way I wanted to use it so that's gonna get switched out. again. poor robot :V .
