I have a feeling he'll be going in wedge-first. If that is the case, then aim for the corners of that. 13 weapon to 6 armor is no joke, so try to tear that off as quickly as possible. If he goes in with the drum. aim for the supports. My teeth should be low enough to sweep underneath and tear them off, and his drum doesn't look too close to the ground. The plan will basically be to use my spinner to disable his two main methods of attack and then go ham on his chassis. Avoid the hazards. If I get into a sticky situation, back off and drive out of it. Keep the weapon spinning no matter what. Good luck Nick and may the better robot win. |

+ I have an extra point of Speed in hand, and we're both 4WD machines, so I should definitely be faster and more manouverable during the fight. + Torque is mine, so I should be quicker to accelerate as well as pushier. I also have a wedge whereas he does not, so I can get underneath him with relative impunity. + We both have 13 Weapon, but given the Weapon Armour bonuses we each receive, both of our weapons have 10 Armour. His ring also has more of a risk of becoming unbalanced, as we saw when RPM fought Immolator, so it's more likely that his weapon will suffer before mine given enough weapon-to-weapon hits. > Spin up the drum and approach with it. Aim for a weapon-to-weapon hit, as explained earlier. He'll be kicked up as well as spun around by his own weapon, whereas I'll just be spun around, so I should be able to recover quicker after the impact and come back on the attack before he will. Repeat as necessary to get his weapon slowed down, then come in with the wedge and shove him under the pulverizers for a good 30 seconds of carefully administered pummelling. Or the nearest hazard if he's somehow being slippery. Repeat for the whole fight. If his weapon gives out and he tries running away, then A) I'm still faster than he is, so he can't run for very long, and B) he will be throwing away Aggression points by the bucketload. > If my drum gives out before his spinning ring, then I'll use it as a buffer as I did against Meta Ridley. I'll be able to withstand the impacts better, and have a better chance of slowing him down to get the wedge in. Plus I'm still showing Aggression, so Judges' points will be scored. Try to herd him towards the walls if I can to stop his weapon dead, and avoid the hazards unless I'm taking him to them. Keep myself moving towards him, get as many weapon-to-weapon hits as possible, and get his weapon slowed. From there, under with the wedge and over to the hazards. KO might be unlikely, but a JD is certainly on the cards. Good luck, Badnik, and may the best bot win. =) |
