RELINQUISH YOUR FORM TO US -Once again, wedge set-up for this match. -Merry Hampton can be a formidable pushing opponent, but we have a 3 point speed advantage to help get around his wedges. Theoretically, my wedge could beat out his since Merry Hampton is a 6WD bot and will have less weight pushing down on it. Also, in terms of wedge size in relation to the rest of the bot I think it's pretty clear that Harbinger's wedge is much larger (and therefore heavier) than either of Merry Hampton's wedges, so even a head to head meeting should be manageable for me. -With that said, I'd still like to try and sweep around and angle in. It's possible (indeed even probable) that Lian would be anticipating this and try to counter, but I am faster, and with 2WD more maneuverable. So the best case situation is that it works and I get to his side or front corner area. At worst we'll meet head to head and I can just trust my wedge from there. -The benefit to being able to get to his sides is that it'll be easier to get his wheels off the ground and push him around. I mean I can still do so from the front, but if I can make things a bit easier for myself, why wouldn't I at least try? -Whenever I get under him, push him around to the hazards. Even with his armor bonus his armor is pretty decent, but at least getting him in the hazards more than he can do to me is a big win anyway. There's not much need for my thwack in this fight other than trying to knock him around if I can get him caught against the wall or trapped in a corner. Otherwise I want to make sure I keep my wedge facing him at all times. -Try to be as aggressive as possible and don't get lured to the hazards. Good Luck! |
