I've never lived by anyone's rules but my own.
Well Toe Chipper has a nice blade, but the way it's shaped I don't think Alex can do much to guarantee he gets a hit. I'll just come in with the back wedge, try to get under without even touching that blade, and push him cautiously to the arena hazards. We won't be flipping, unless it's at the very end. We'll just be playing defense and making him eat wedge every time, which I'm fast enough and controlled enough to do.

If he were to get around and hit the tracks obviously it would be devastating, but that's more difficult to do with a vertical weapon, and with Toe Chipper's stats. Just make sure when I slam him into the wall--slam diagonally so that he doesn't land right behind me.

Good Luck

  • Okay start right side up. I have those two small sharp teeth that are meant to get under wedges like him. If He comes at me with the plow, just come in head on and rely on my sharp teeth that have the full weight of my robot pressing down on them to get underneath.
  • If I get underneath those, then my blade can hit and do some damage. If he gets underneath, then I should still be able to part where his plow tapers up.
  • If he comes at me with the flipper, he's just making his tracks vulnerable since they have no protection from that side. Aim specifically for them, even if I have to drive up his flipper a little. My blade should have the reach to hit them.
  • Basically he has terrible armor. His plow is hinged, so if I hit that it should swing up and over to the other side of his robot, leaving his body very vulnerable to the blade. I shouldn't have to say that 13 weapon power to 6 armor is a one hit knockout. (I think there's some conflicting opinion on the hinged nature of Ptero. I personally think its hinged [why would it have arms if it wasnt] but if someone says it's not, then I'd flip him upon getting under him and hitting him, making him vulnerable anyway).
Good luck.
