-We're nearly identical in stats even if we're not so identical in design. I've got an added point in traction while his is given over to torque. Ideally I don't plan on letting him take advantage of his pushing power though.

-So pretty typical horizontal vs. vertical spinner action here. The benefit to Ridley being an undercutter is that it's nearly impossible for his drum to get under it so he can sort of uppercut me and pop me up.

-Rush him with the disc and go for that cool head-on collision. My higher traction should allow me a bit better recovery. If it's possible to target his edges so I can hit the support area, that would be fantastic since that would get his weapon out of play in a hurry and from there it would be much easier to get stronger damage on him to put an end to the fight quickly.

-If it's just a case of both of us beating on each others weapons until they give out, I should be able to use the thwack tail to knock him around and keep him from trying to wedge me around.

-In any case, keep my disc pointed in his direction at all times and try to attack as aggressively as I can. Don't get lured to the hazards though.

I should go 3-1 this week but it'll probably be something like 0-4 or 0-5.

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

+ We both have the same Speed, so it's unlikely he'll be able to outdrive me very much. There's only one point of disparity in Traction as well, so my 4WD setup compared to his 2WD should offer me more stability and control than him during the match, also taking into account his large spinning disc up front he has to fight against.

+ Torque is mine, so I should definitely win a pushing match, and I also have the acceleration advantage between us. I am also the only robot in this fight with a wedge, so I should be able to get underneath him with relative ease, and then push him around without too much resistance with my superior Torque.

+ We both have the same Weapon, and the same Armour, so we both have a good chance of causing damage to the other. If it's a weapon-to-weapon impact, then drum typically beats horizontal spinner, but even without that effect, it's more likely both our weapons will give out at the same time. I can't see weapon-to-weapon hits alone leading to my weapon failing before his.

> Spin up my drum, move out to meet him, and then smack it into him. If he does try juking or something to try and get to my drum supports, then I'll turn to meet his manouvering, and aim to force a weapon-to-weapon impact. I'll be spun around a little, but he will be kicked up into the air, and I should therefore recover better than he will. Yay physics. :v: If he does end up trying to thwack me, then there's not a great deal of power behind it, so I should be able to simply smash the drum into the more vulnerable parts of his machine, i.e. not the disc.

> If he approaches with the tail, I should be wary of him trying to swing around to bring the disc in, and any other unusual driving tactics like this. I'll back up slightly in this situation just before we meet to prevent that from happening, before bringing the disc into whatever's facing me at the time, whether that's the tail or the side of his chassis. If I do catch the side of his chassis, then even if he does hit my drum supports, then I should be able to cripple his drivetrain on that side, given the Armour disparity and proximity to the wheel itself. If both our weapons fail, then I'll turn myself around and use the wedge, which he has no defense against, and then bulldoze him into the hazard. If my drum goes out first, though, then I still have 10 Armour there, and I can use that to tank the shots from his disc until that fails as well or gets ripped off. At which point just use the wedge. Shouldn't come to that, but it's nice to have a contingency plan. Avoid walls and hazards unless I'm on the attack, keep the drum pointed at him for as long as it's still attached to the robot, or until both of our weapons stop. I'm expecting plenty of sparks here, and our stats are fairly even, but I think I've got the design to deal with his, and a JD should hopefully come my way on Aggression and Strategy, maybe even a KO with a little luck.
