The rules are not clear on Torque, Traction and acceleration. That's what I'm getting at, they say two different things at two different points. Personally, I'd rather have Spatch sort this out rather than have two different interpretations kicking around.

You're just a voice pal, you don't know a damn thing about racing!
Predictions

LW

1. Redline
Sounds kinda conceited to put myself here but considering what everything else has said I really think I can take my first title here!
2. No Exit
Pure anti-spinner and enough wedginess to do well against the bricks. Should do well.
3. Microwave
Best of the spinners, but the forks seem to limit the spinner's range, and it's gonna hate self-righting.
4. Dr. P
Looks solid and should be a good contender.
5. Zadkiel
He returns again! Should do as well as he has before.
6. Something Vibrant
Veteran robot, experienced driver, but those flat sides make me nervous...
7. O'Malley
It's really narrow which makes me think it'll be hard to control. Still powerful.
8. Scarab
Tracks scream killsaw fodder to me, and it's a VS in a class full of HS and bricks. However it looks cool and it has that really neat wedge that might make it a contender.
9. Speed Buster
Your basic brick. If Mystic RP's well it could be a dark horse.
10. Conqueror
Eh, it's okay. Too many big spinners to do really well here.
11. Mr. Not Very Nice 4
Playzooki continues to improve, but those corners are gonna be spinner fodder.
12. Le-Mans
It's a cool bot and all but it's too boxy to do much here, sorry TBR.
13. Son of a BOX
Nope.

MW

1. Square Wave
Holy shit. Armor and wedginess for days, plus one of the best RPers in the field. Not much will stand in his way.
2. Barrier
NFX is still a cheap bastard :v:
3. Marauder
Tracks = killsaw/pointed lifter fodder, but it's bricky enough to do well here.
4. Sarge
Holy shit, this thing looks good. However those exposed wheels...
5. Luna
Strong spinner, best of the field, and it has the versatility and experience to do well here.
6. Pterodactyl
Should be a potent flipper. Can't see much wrong here.
7. Hermes
Generic but solid. Should do alright.
8. The No Patrol 3
Wedge and spinner, but not enough of either to really own the opposition IMO...
9. Good For It 2
It's alright, but if what everyone's been saying is true it won't last long.
10. Millenaire de Souffrance
Not only is it an odd hybrid, but I can't see it doing well. The wedge will be pushed up by the thwack arm and make it nearly impossible to get under anything.
11. Janus
I'm not feeling it, Marti. I don't see a clusterbot doing well in this field.
12. Toothache
It's another odd hybrid, and I can see the weapon split really killing it here.
13. Jet Set
Again, nope. :v:

HW
1. Snijmachine
Gets better every season.
2. Tellu
Switcheroo champ and a strong new design. Should be tough to beat.
3. Terror Dactyl II
I'm gonna take a toss on a dark horse here. There's enough boxes and flat tops for this guy to really do some damage.
4. Waterloo Sunset
Still strong and will probably make the playoffs.
5. Station to Station
The only clusterbot in the field I feel confident about. Should do well.
6. Klarinette
More tracks but with the hammers and the lifter I can really see this robot shine. Still, tracks make me nervous.
7. The Arbiter
Flippers are always cool, but I'm just not seeing it going too far. No clue why.
8. El Chupacabra
Meh. I don't know how well I'll really do in this field. Expected way more spinners.
9. Shrek
Hey now, he's an all star. But does he have enough layers of strategy to take home a title? I don't think so.
10. Evil FireBlaze
He'll probably take home a win or two but there's too many wedges and bricks to really do too well.
11. Give Way
Such an eccentric design probably won't do too well in this field, unfortunately.
12. Super Smash Bros.
Another for-fun design that probably won't win too often.
13. Awkwardbot
What?

SHW
1. Teresa
Do I think she'll go undefeated again? Probably not. Do I think she'll take the title? Definitely.
2. Parabolic Trajectory
Solid and powerful enough to win a lot.
3. Peppernut.
Not-Vendetta strikes again!
4. Phantasmic Slammer
I like Kody's redesign but I'm feeling a lack of confidence in him right now...
5. Lethal Injection Mk2
Still as strong as ever. Will it be enough though?
6. Barracuda
I like this bot and there's enough flat tops for the hammer to really do some damage. Liking his chances here.
7. Jack Frost
Too many bricks for Frost to really live up to his full potential but I still think he'll do well.
8. Stabstract
Tracks will keep him from doing to well, at least not in this field. Bricky enough to win a lot but I don't think he's championship-caliber.
9. Pathos 2
Lots of improvement here. Could be a dark horse.
10. Chemical Reaction II
Generic ring spinner. Won't do well in the brick-heavy class, but could pull some upsets.
11. The Watcher
Cool spinner but in this field of bricks it won't do too well. When it does score a big hit, though...
12. Viluy
Another odd hybrid that won't do too well.
13. FLIP THIS
Psychosprout sucked two decades ago. It'll suck even worse now.
Team Ignition
WhipCoil - The Crash & Burn Tournament 5 Champion
Redline - Robot Bastards LW Champion
Sling Shot - Bot-o-Rama 2016 Sportsman Champion

To be honest, I wasn't really going for "Spinner killing" when I decided to enter Conks again. With the speed and the armour though, he should hopefully be strong enough to put up some good fights, maybe even win against one or two if I'm lucky- I think I can beat Scarab, at least. Even then there aren't a lot of Uber Spinners though, so I'd say whether or not it'll affect his chances of getting to the Playoffs depends more on how well he does against some of the others.

Josh's Stone! Cold! Lead! Pipe! Locks!

LW:

It's looking decently wide open, but it also looks like a lot of "whatever I had lying around to enter". :v:

1. Dr. P
-I'm liking his chances the most. He looks versatile enough to deal with both spinners and wedges effectively and put out some hurt along the way.

2. No Exit
-Maybe I'm off my rocker, but I've got a feeling about this guy. I don't think he'll be the easiest bot for a lot of people to deal with.

3. Conqueror
-Sure it's Dreadnought lite, but that isn't automatically a bad thing. Probably won't make it to the finals, but should put in a good showing.

4. Scarab
-Well he doesn't get a fucked-up, cakewalk division this time ;) , but I think the design looks pretty good.

5. Redline
-It's pretty much a LW version of Peppernut and as such should probably do decently well.

6. Mr. NVN
-Not a lot of flash or pizzazz with this bot, but it's a marked improvement over the last version.

7. O'Malley
-Start the spinner logjam! I'm not sold on spinners doing particularly well in this weight class, and you can consider these 3 spots pretty interchangeable.

8. Microwave
-Thankfully ditches the goofy lifter gimmick, but I'm worried about the number of bots that can flip him over.

9. Zadkiel
-If Lian would freshen up the design a bit I'd probably have a bit more confidence in him, but as is he's just a standard spinner.

10. Something Vibrant
-Not a terrible bot, but I'm not seeing much to recommend him over a lot of other designs.

11. Speed Buster
-Much like Something Vibrent, he's an alright design, but just doesn't feel distinguished enough. I dunno.

12. Le-Mans
-Perhaps thankfully not to be confused with Hector LeMans, but he just seems a bit too clunky to be very effective.

13. Son of Box
-Dear god no...

MW:

As much of mish-mash of mediocrity as LW looks, MW looks pretty stacked overall. There will likely be some damn good bots that end up on the outside looking in at playoff time.

1. Square Wave
-Okay, he's not necessarily a perfect design, but he looks well equipped to deal with a lot of the competition. Much like with Dr. P, Alex looks to have the right bot at the right time.

2. Sarge
-He looks set up to be a strong contender after a poor showing in his last event, but needs to prove he can beat Square Wave.

3. Marauder
-While treadbots always have to be on the lookout for the saws, at least he doesn't have the hyper saws of death from the Crazy Bots arena to worry about. :v:

4. Luna
-Still a good looking spinner, but I just can't see her topping those top ranked rammers.

5. Pterodactyl
-Not much to dislike here, but this weight-class is pretty cutthroat as I've said before and he could end up coming up just a little short.

6. I Can't Believe It's Not Barrier
-Yeah, but I can believe he might not make the playoffs. Barrier is still Barrier, but the design might not hold up as well against more modern competition.

7. No Patrol
-Thankfully he ditches the flipper gimmick. It was a cool thought, but was never going to work well. Still this probably wasn't the best season to retry a design like this. :-/

8. Good For It
-Victory or death! That's pretty much it for this guy. He could score some wins, but probably not much more than middle of the pack caliber overall.

9. Hermes
-Too basic of a lifter design for me to feel too good about him making a big impact.

10. Toothache
-It's a cool concept, but ultimately neither weapon is going to do all that much.

11. Jet Set
-Speed kills... sometimes.

12. Janus
Multi-bots can be fun, but I'm not crazy about these guys.

13. Millenaire
-Maybe I'm just putting it down here cause it's a dumb name to type. :v: Okay not really, but it does look like it's trying to be a Jack of all trades, but will more likely be a Master of Adequate at none.

HW:

It's another solid weight class, but it doesn't look like a very exciting one.

1. Klarinette
-Huzzah! Lian finally actually put in that the antennae get removed! Okay seriously now, I'm not seeing a whole lot to fault with the design. Look for a BIG rebound from it's last tournament.

2. Snijmachine
-You can always count on DUTCHout to put in a good showing. I'm not fully sold on the design change to a more traditional undercutter and way from the STEVEout design, but I'm also not making any of the calls this season. ;)

3. Tellu
-A nice late update to the design makes me think it'll do better than I initially would have thought. A good versatile design.

4. Station to Station
-I had good feelings about it in Crazy Bots, and I think it's better set up for success in this tournament overall, but I'll temper my expectations a little bit.

5. Waterloo
-Probably not quite as effective as it's bigger cousin Lethal Injection, but still looks reasonably sturdy.

6. The Arbiter
-It won't be hard to improve upon it's previous 2-7 mark (and only one of those wins was an actual fight). :D . He's corrected the glaring weakness of the initial version, but is in a tough field here.

7. El Chupacabra
-Sarge: Simmons, what's the name of that Mexican lizard that eats all the goats?
Simmons: The would be the Chupacabra, sir!
Sarge: Hey Grif! Chupa-thingy! How bout that? I like it! It's got a ring to it!

8. Shrek
-Hey can win the championship! Of course! Really? No.

9. Terror-Dactyl
-He's something of a cult favorite from Crazy Bots, but that won't help him much here.

10. Super Smash Bros.
-Take your pick Nick, I nickname him either the Super Special Sonic Search and Smash Square or the Super Koopa Cousins. :dawg:

11. Give Way
-Three speed? Did we not learn from Koopa? Oh that's right, I don't think you entered that season Marti! :P

12. Evil FireBlaze
-I don't care what you call it. I'm never going to feel that good about the GoldenBlaze design.

13. Akwardbot
- :qq:

SHW:

I hope you like rammers! Also I hope you like bots you've seen a million times before. :v:

1. Lethal Injection 2
-Maybe if he wins GF will come up with something interesting in SHW for once! Just kidding Alex. ;)

2. Barracuda
-Probably the best set-up of him yet. Now just to see if he can finally get a big payoff with the design.

3. Jack Frost
-Things are probably a bit more favorable for him than random arena Ruination, but there's a lot of tough bots out there.

4. Teresa
-Teresa will lose at least 1 fight this season. I mean she HAS to... right?

5. Phantasmic Slammer
-The one bot on this list that literally HAS been entered a million times by this point. I'm calling it now, he won't beat LI this season!

6. Parabolic Trajectory
-He still looks good, but this is a pretty stacked weight class.

7. Peppernut
-Did you lose a bet saying you could never use Vendetta again Marti?

8. Stabstract
-Standard Lian rammer rubbish. :dawg: Fuck Underall wedges, fuck Tank plows, fuck everything. :v:

9. Chemical Reaction
-Cool vert spinner becomes boring ring spinner. :-/

10. Viloy
-Top candidate for the Best Looking bot award (if such a thing exists for Robot Bastards at least). Competitively, it'll likely come up short.

11. The Watcher
-I get what he's trying for, but I don't see it working.

12. Pathos
-Yeah it could be good. But I can't see any details on the fucking bot!

13. Flip This
-LMAO

I should go 3-1 this week but it'll probably be something like 0-4 or 0-5.

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.
