A spinning machine against a boxy bot, something tells me there can be only one winner. Stats: Speed: Sneak Beast (7) – Clown Breath (5) Traction: Sneak Beast (6) – Clown Breath (4) Torque: Sneak Beast (3) – Clown Breath (1) Armour: Sneak Beast (7) – Clown Breath (7) Weapon: Sneak Beast (7) – Clown Breath (13) Battle Plan: Clown Breath is one hard contender to deal with, even though he lost his first match of the tournament I won’t underestimate this machine I face. Once the buzzer goes I’ll going for the kill, immediately charge at Clown Breath to try and shunt him against the spikes and stop the bar from spinning to begin with. A huge risk taking to start with, if the motor manages to run during the pushing against Clown Breath I’ll use my flipper to try and flip him upside down whilst pushing This technique I’m trying to create is to slam against the walls to try and damage that motor inside of my opponent and hoping to malfunction the system. Continue to try and irritate the opponent by pushing it around at all costs, maybe try and flip it using the floor flipper since he’s not invertible. If Sneak Beast carries on getting damaged by the spinner there’s no way I’m going to back off since I want this robot to try and nab a win. Even if this tactic may sound sacrificial, I’m giving my robot all it’s got to try and battle against the wrecking havoc of Clown Breath. Good luck and may the best bot win!. |

-Rammers... with flipping action. Augh! Well let's see what we can do here. I'm bested in the speed department, but that's to be expected. That doesn't mean I can't try to be elusive however. I have a comfortable 6 point weapon advantage over his main armor so there's definitely good potential for a lot of damage. -The key for me will be to keep in motion as much as I can so he can't just pin me down and start ramming me god only knows where. I want to target his front corners so I can knock him away from me more effectively and it would probably open up shots on his sides better as well. -Try to avoid getting wedged/flipped at all costs. The bright side is that his wedge is fairly steep so my own wedge could help with defense in this regard, in addition for making it a bit more difficult to wedge me in general. If my weapon is stopped/slowed, try to scoot off to the sides until I get get back up to full speed and then try to get back on the offensive. -The main thing will be to keep clear of the floor flippers since they are the hazard I'm most directly worried about. DO NOT let him push me there or lure me to them under any circumstances whatsoever! -If need be, go with a more direct attack on his front and try to back away as we both recover from the impact. -It's really all about spin up, hit, and repeat here and just avoid letting him push me around. Good Luck! |
