-I have the advantages in speed and traction (and additionally in control since i have a perfect 7/7 to his 6/5). I have a massive advantage in weapon (a bit more on that in a moment), we're equal in torque and he has a small advantage in armor (though the flipper covering most of RD's top actually gives me an advantage in that regard as well). And there is also the fact that he is a multi-bot.

-Now the weapon comparison. RD has a very powerful flipper that could probably fit both halves of the multi on it at once and flip them pretty well. On the other side, both his halves feature 2 power lifters. Now this is actually a bit more problematic for him than I initially thought when doing my preseason picks since 2 power puts it on the lower end of the "below-average" lift speed. Further consider that each half of StS is, at best, half the weight of RD (or any other HW for that matter) so it really calls into question how effectively they can lift their opponents.

-Anyway, as far as my strategy goes... At the start I'll kind of need to play off how they are going. If Nick starts of with a sort of "divide and conquer" approach by sending the two halves off in different directions, then just pick one and go after it. Now I know that leaves the other floating around after me, but my drive advantages mean he's going to constantly be playing keep-up. Once I can get at the one I'm chasing I should be able get under. I mean my wedge/flipper is like 85% of my chassis so I'd imagine it's heavier and probably lower than his. Once I get under one, flip him and send him sky high.

-At that point try and divert attention to the other half and do the same. Mostly try a strategy of flip and repeat. If I can get either or both upside down however, their wedges effectiveness pretty much goes to zilch so at that point I'd like to try working in the hazards on them as well.

-If they combined attack, well I'll still mostly just pick one to focus on (whichever one is closest to me, but if there is an equal choice go for the fork one since it'd probably be a bit easier overall to get under him) and try to wedge and flip. Now it's important to keep some distance from the other half after the flip so he can get at me while my flipper is resetting. Again, get in lots of flips and try to get them into the hazards whenever the opportunity presents itself.

-Also, make sure I have a solid amount of my flipper under them before firing it. I don't want to mess up and only flip air. Now even without the hazard usage, my flipper power is actually slightly over their armor, so I can actually cause a bit of damage to them just through flips alone. Nothing overly significant, true, but it's still extra points for me.

Good Luck!

I should go 3-1 this week but it'll probably be something like 0-4 or 0-5.

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

I've never lived by anyone's rules but my own.
Hmm... he's 1 point faster, but it's 2 vs 1. He has a powerful flipping arm but the arena has floor flippers anyway, and both my bots are fully invertible. So it seems like overkill. Then again, perhaps the same could be said about my armor. Regardless, let's do this.

Simple enough the plan will be to go at his front directly with the green station. I feel the three-pronged forked wedge will have better chances of my two bots at getting under him, though both my bots can press their wedges and I think they both should have good leverage. The blue station will try to outflank him primarily.

I want to get him hooked on the 'tooth' of either of my bots, then take him to the killsaws, then the hammers. If he gets lifted by that long front of his, the rear armor on his wheel pods will touch the floor instead of his wheels, and I can just push him around without resistance. If he tries to put a lot of space between my two bots, just slip away and regroup. Looks like I could fairly easily slink off that flipping plate of his, and both of my bots are fully mobile with their rear wheels if they get lifted from their fronts. They're good grappling bots. And there are two of them! He can't dodge both all day. As long as I can keep them all in the same part of the arena, one can always get under him and take him to the hazards.

Good Luck
