Vi veri veniversum vivus vici.
Well now, time for not only my first CBNBC match, but also Deathstalker's first outing! I'm up against Scatterbrain- very interesting smart thwacker who I've lost to once or twice previously. I was too passive those previous times, but now that I know what approach to take with these sorts of designs, let's see what needs to be done to bring this 'crazy bot' back to reality. Whoops, there goes Gravity.

Analysis
First thing to note is that he's very fast and has those heavy hammers on the ends of his "arms", so he'll hit hard if I'm not careful in how I approach. He can drift a slight bit as well due to his MeltyBrain technology, so I'll need to watch out for that, too.

Fortunately, there are a few things I can use against him- most notably, his near total lack of flexibility. Because of his design, the only way he can really attack me is by spinning. His poor Traction/Speed ratio and his odd wheel arrangement means he simply cannot out-manoeuvre me despite his greater speed, has absolutely no wedges (And therefore cannot get underneath or even protect himself from being wedged under when stopped.), and his very weak Torque means that he'll put up precious little resistance when I push him.
On the other hand, I have several different choices- I can thwack him sideways, axe him (Despite his Armour, I can at least put some nice dents in his Flat Top.), and use my Sprung Hooks and superior drive to ram and shove him around wherever I want. Simply put, once I stop him from spinning, he's helpless.

Strategy
Anyway, game on. Because my superb Traction means I'll have the general speed advantage (His top speed is higher, but he'll take time to reach it due to his lower Traction.), I will want to be the aggressor early on and keep him from spinning. Move out quickly and go for a box rush, but don't blindly fling myself into him- watch for if he tries to manoeuvre for instance, and be ready to angle into him accordingly.
If he spins early, stop him by forcing my way underneath him at speed- my skirts will deflect some of the damage, and I'll still be able to slide under with my wedge due to my Traction keeping me in place. In any case, I'll be able to barge underneath him with my wedge, pin him with the Spikes, and come down on him with the Axe as well to deal some damage.

From there on in- aggression, aggression, aggression. Keep underneath as much as I can to stop the bastard from spinning, and prioritise ramming him into the walls or hazards, as well as introducing his flat lid to some nice blows from my Axe. In terms of which hazards I shove him into, prioritise using the Drum to chuck him around (Using a good run-up whenever I can.), and the Pulverisers to smash his flat lid in and complement any damage done using my Axe.
If I can damage one of his drive motors as well to slow down or completely nullify his ability to spin, add in some blows with my thwacking Tail as well for additional damage, but don't do it if he can still spin, because if he does, then that'll get me first. For the most part, keep underneath to stop him from turning or getting away, and keep piling on a series of aggressive attacks to gradually break him down.

Here, an approach of Aggressive Defence will work best- I've tried both passive and aggressive strategies against the guy previously, and the latter allowed me to beat him, so I'll go with that again here. If he spins up, barge through him head-on to break the spin and make him vulnerable, and from there I can attack him. Even still, go for preventing him from spinning where I can to minimise any damage- keep underneath and shoving him around as much as I can, or failing that, herded near the walls and hazards to minimise his breathing/spinning space.
At the same time, stay near to him as much as possible to minimise his room and prevent him from escaping, and keep the front facing him as much as I can- keep the Tail especially well-protected, and don't hang around the hazards too much when I'm not taking him to them myself.

Overall, I will want to be both aggressive and tactical. Make use of my superior drive and good defences early on to prevent him from lining up any attacks (And to knock him out of his pattern if he does try attacking early.), and once I'm underneath, show no mercy. Keep constantly underneath and using my torque, the environment, and my Axe to deal plenty of consistent damage, and gradually break him down.
A KO would be a nice start to Deathstalker's career of course, but a decision on Damage/Aggression and Strategy would be good, too.

And hopefully that'll cover it. I do at the very least know that hanging back like a little wimp isn't going to do me any favours, so let's see how Deathstalker does, here. Good luck, Nick!

SPIN!

Spin up, and then glide out towards him, ideally striking the corners of his front wedge when he approaches.

SPIN!

If he starts thwacking, then strafe myself into him. I'm hoping I will have more power behind it, and thus cause him more damage.

SPIN!

If he should wedge underneath me, then my hammers will strike his teeth and bounce me away, at which point I can go back on the attack.

SPIN!

Good luck, Alex, and may the best bot win.
