Superheavyweight

Hello Taurus. I shall aim for your sides. I don't care if your name is a typo of 1 of my favourite Pokemon, such sentiments are meaningless in the heat of the fight. Nor do I care my own robot is named after a Soul Calibur character whose name I can't pronounce. This is flipper vs flipper, and I intend to win. I am angled all around for better protection against wedges. I rejoice, for I am fighting wedges today. Furthermore I notice I have 2WD for quicker turning as well as superior speed AND traction, and even a superior speed/traction ratio given Taurus's speed is higher than its traction. Hurray. Use my advantages to get to his sides. His advantages are mainly torque and armour. If I avoid a pushing match then he will not be able to abuse his superior torque, and my armour will be fine if I avoid being taken to the hazards, which I wish to avoid at all costs. Just get to one of his sides and flip him to hell and back. Flip, flip, flip. If I can steer my flipping motion I damn well wish to flip him into some nice hazards. But first and foremost keep on flipping. And then some. Avoid suffering from his business ends by abusing my superior driving stats and superior turning. If he ever flips me, selfright asap and continue as planned, if he ever goes wedgebot on me... and I do intent to avoid that... drive away whenever I get the chance too, maybe when wedged and in a pinch fire my strong flipper and see if the resulting force gets me in a more beneficial position. Flip, flip, flip. Yeah. Gonna win that world cup. Godspeed |

Fuck Bitches Get Crystals

+ I have four wheels compared to Xianghua's two, so I should definitely be the better controlled robot when I'm on an attack. + Torque is mine, so I should definitely win a pushing match. The wedge war is mostly guesswork, so I'm hoping I can win a wedge-to-wedge fight. If I can't, then I should hopefully be able to drive straight up and over such a low and shallow bot such as Xianghua. + I have an extra point of Weapon, so I should be able to cause more damage, as well as self-right more effectively. I also have the better Armour, so I can withstand more punishment during the fight. > Relatively simple plan, for the most part. Rush in, get underneath, flip, repeat. Stay on her at all times, and don't give her an opportunity to regroup. Ideally, herd her towards a hazard such as the Pulverizers. If she's upside-down, then that should prevent her from self-righting, and also cause damage to her. If she should get under me, then try to drive myself up and over her before she can flip me. If this doesn't work, then try to go off the sides. Should I be overturned, then hopefully I'll be able to self-right relatively quickly and get back on the attack. If not, then scoot about on my back wheels until I can self-right. Keep the flipper pointed at her, don't let her get to my sides, and don't go after hers. Although should she allow me to go side-on, then I will. If she should present herself in an opportune manner, I will of course get myself in there as quickly as possible (matron). I'm guessing this match will be an all-out flipfest, so it's mostly about getting in more flips than Xianghua, and exerting more control over her during the match. Good luck, Martijn, and may the best bot win. =) |
